Didn’t his son, John play for us for a few matches at the end of one season on loan from Doncaster if I remember rightly. I’m unsure TVOS will correct me if I’m wrong.

As 1 of the 115 that attended. I can totally agree with the comments by suffolkdale.
I was surprised that it was MJ’s second pass that went backwards, not his first. He is a shocking player and to be fair reminds me of Steve Doyle for those with a long enough memory.
We had no forward motion in the second half and we do seem to need a tough midfielder who will get stuck in and release pressure and a striker who can make the ball stick to him. Given the injury list we have at the minute, we are still bettered placed than the last 2 seasons.
A decent January and we could be safe with maybe 2 or 3 games left... |

There will be 4 (more) from Suffolk going, even managed to persuade my 8 year old daughter to make this her first ever football match...
I also had the pleasure of watching Ipswich v Gillingham on Boxing Day and Gillingham look a decent, solid side with 2 quick strikers up top. Here’s hoping for a decent match. |

Having just got back, I thought we played quite well. So much better in the second half when Ethan came on and we went to 442. Once we were playing 442, we took the game to them. CB Ethan looks a quality player and looked good next to Big Jim, who played well today.
The biggest disappointment was Matty Done. We urgently need a new LB as they spotted the weakness and went for it. Hamilton looks good and very comfortable on the ball as you would expect and would work well with Rathbone.
Wasn't expecting us to win but with Maddison doing Neymar impressions and a shocking ref we did well to come away with 11 men. |

I can’t wait for this game. Never seen a victory at Southend after many years of going and this match will be the first one my 2 children have ever watched live. My daughter said to me this morning, that she didn’t really want to go but she will do as it will be an experience! I didn’t let on how much of an experience it will be.
I’m hoping for Hendo to play upfront and, likewise, to finish the game with all 11 players. If only we could have a NML type player nowadays, those 45 minutes he played against Southend a few years back was immense. |

Hi,
Not as good as Thacks but currently sat at home in Kesgrave watching the rain fall down...
I hear all about the problems at ITFC as my wife and father in law are both fans and I am currently in a battle to ensure my children are Dale fans rather than follow ITFC!
It will be nice to know another dale fan will be travelling from "down south" to games. |
