Do we really want to go back to a manager merry go round? One or two a year with the disruption that that brings. Surely, the board should back him for at least one more season. Look at the improvement in recruitment and method. They shouldn't have sacked Neil Warnock in 2012 and they shouldn't sack Warbs now. |
| News Comment | The 1967 League Cup final - History at 07:43:38
I became a QPR supporter in 1960, at the age of 9, during the season where we just missed promotion to tier two with Bury and Walsall pipping us. The 60s and 70s were a great time to be a QPR supporter. I saw Rodney Marsh's goal of the season against Leyton Orient in a 5 - 1 home win and many other great memories. However, I would say that currently I am as enthusiastic as I have ever been to be a QPR supporter. I was also at our 4 - 1 away triumph at the Hawthorns the last time we graced the Premier League though I'm in no hurry to get back to the top flight. |

Superb report, Clive! I was watching on the tv link which I wish that was available more often. The paragraph starting "And when that’s your team,...... " was almost too much to bear, along with the Nottingham Forest game reference later on. We football supporters are a very strange breed indeed. |
| News Comment | Adomah and Ball reach into the fire to grasp unlikely point - Report at 09:18:10
Credit to Warbs who is one of the few managers at QPR in my 60 years of support, who makes any sense at all to me in his methods. Maybe it's his experience in other working environments that means to has the foresight to make significant changes to the team swiftly, in my view this is a very rare skill in football management. Also, 100% agreement on Mrs Brown's Boys - Dreadful. |

It's been a delight, Clive, thank you for enriching my season with your intelligent, passionate and humorous reports. One advantage of the lack of fans at the ground has been the greater access to live football for those who find it difficult to attend matches. Every cloud .... |

I hope you take solace from the wonderfully positive comments here Clive. Although I have never met you, your writings are so personal and honest, I feel that I know you pretty well. Like others, I look forward to your musings or reports as you like to call them. Enjoy 2019, surprise promotion? I'm not sure I could cope. |
| News Comment | QPR blow Forest hoodoo out of the water — Report at 08:01:16
Your reports, Clive, get better and better and better. Loved the Granddad stuff at the beginning, particularly as I have been know to freewheel on occasions but NOT on my test, obviously! Maybe the superb quality of your recent reports is due to the quality we are seeing in front of us - an inspiration. |
| News Comment | The late late show - Report at 08:07:27
Excellent report as ever, Clive, I watched the match on tv with a Brentford supporter and felt the need to apologise to him at the end. Of course, we too have often been in a similar position. I thought a 6 for Freeman was a little harsh as he worked incredibly hard all night, with flair and application and you may recall he did score the second goal!! |

Thanks Clive for another excellent year. I only read your reports as I believe that I'm getting a fair representation of the facts. I find when attending the games, that your views are close to mine so when I can't make it, it is reassuring to see the game through your eyes. Have a good summer ready for what we hope will be an exciting 2016/7 season. |
