Correct. There is no planning. However the major first step is arranging the plan to move the Aggregate Companies to move off site and that is under way. Until that can be done there is no way prospective interested parties can be engaged. It will probably be 3-4 years before a deal can be done to remove existing tenants but discussions are underway to progress this..
As I understand, the Council own most, if not all the land alongside the western side of the River Itchen waterfront. However there are a number of going concerns that have long leases. If there is an issue with some of the companies refusing to surrender their leases eg the Aggregate Companies, the Council can, theoretically, Compulsory Purchase them. I have heard whispers that plans to develop the Itchen waterfront is a bit more advanced than I originally thought.
Dibling has attributes as an attacking player but is poor defensively.
Nowadays players have to do their bit against the ball as well as with the ball and currently Dibling doesnt measure up in the formrt capacity and that lessens his value
Pompey fans reckon that back in the day Shoemakers from Northamptonshire undercut footwear products made in the Royal Navy Yard in Pompey. The errant shoemakers were represented by the Consolidated Union of Northamptonshire Tanners and Shoemakers hence the acronym given to Northampton Town supporters
Well said Nick I look back to the days when I wanted a Saints top as a nipper, for my birthday My Mum took me to Toomers in London Road and the only football shirt available was in Arsenal colours This was OK as it was red & white. The only other Saints shirt I have bought was a retro 1950 style for when we went to Milan.

I agree with all comments about playing semi finals at neutral grounds and maintaining Wembley for 'special occasions' I think the cost of the new Wembley was so great that every opportunity had to be looked at to gain revenue to the detriment of most fans enjoyment.
I cant see THB 'only' being on £7.5k a week when he cost the club £20m in transfer fee.
It is also surprising to see that KWP is on relatively low wages which apparently is correct.
I am surprised he has not moved on before his contract runs out but guess he will negotiate a much better contract when he leaves for free at the end of the season.
I wonder if most/all of the players have to take a 50% reduction in their wages next year?
It would also be interesting to learn if the club had to pay a promotion bonus when the club was promoted
What's the general though on the forthcoming FA Cup game?
I bought my ticket prior to the Ipswich win and wonder if a few minds have been changed as a consequence of the result?
I guess the crowd is not going to be more than 15,000 but whilst a poor turnout perhaps those who attend will be true supporters of the team
It is worth noting that we played Swansea soon after their 4-0 thrashing by our friends down the road and now we face Burnley the week after a 0-0 draw at Fratton.
Burnley have a fantastic defensive record and their 'keeper James Trafford has been in top form for them.
A solid defence versus a poor attacking team so another 0-0?
