Very pleased with that against a team we struggle with.
Bar the first ten of the second half we were much the better side.
Really should have scored more than one in the first half which made it more nervy than it needed to be.
Edwards absolute class. Chair a big improvement at ten. Frey leading the line superbly.

Always slightly concerned when we open the midfield up with a 2 rather than a 3 after the start of the season.

There’s a lot I agree with here, particularly the point about JCS, but I think a factor not considered is Sheff utd’s various offers were not £2m, they were a small amount up front and then add ons based on stuff like winning promotion, making Prem apps, playing international football. So if we’ve just turned down 2m for an out of contract player that’s dim. But if it’s only a few hundred K he’s probably worth more to us Alive than dead and might choose to extend his contract. |
