Madsen oh god the real reality for me about him was in the FA Cup game at Leicester, watched him through the fog in the pre-match warm up, thought it was the fog but it actually looked like he was hiding from passes in the triangle practising stuff, now that is worrying. |

Put Jimmy Dunne up front, with Dembele and Smyth working around him. Jimmy is more than capable of holding the ball up and heading the ball on and battling away against centre backs. |

You might have a point here, injuries apart there have been some strange away team selections since the Millwall game at the beginning of February. I would even go as far as to say that these away games are being sacrificed to give the punters a better display at Loftus Road. It seems strange that all these last minute injuries and illnesses tend to take place before an away match. |

Sort of ask the question why does Eze need to move from Palace, he gets paid well, enjoys his football they love him and he is winning England caps. If we look at how the rejections before QPR snapped him up and gave him a chance he probably relishes the stability and rise to being a top footballer. Obviously he has ambitions to win things and yes great if he earns a big move and we get a bonus, but it might just not happen, but I suppose we did get a good fee for him 5 years ago. In my mind I sort of hope that when he is in his thirties he comes back to QPR and finishes his career with us. Loved him in a QPR shirt, still like him in a Palace shirt to be honest, quality player all round and still one of ours. [Post edited 30 Mar 5:25]

Pretty much as I see it, looked at that starting line up and thought nothing to see here, especially away to an industrial side like Stoke. The next 3 home games against Cardiff, Bristol City and Swansea which are all winnable and key as our away form is woeful. We might get a point at Oxford but with our lot if they go a goal down it usually is game over. |

Didn't even do the usual VPN stuff to watch this game and went down the pub with my Palace mate to discuss old times and hopefully them winning a trophy. Let's face it you ain't gonna win a game in this league if you play a vertically challenged forward line against big tall fxckers in this league, when I are we going to learn this lesson, no so time me thinks. It's all so predictable, one goal down game lost. URsss |

I am hoping we come back from the international break like we did in November and get the points rolling again. |

Pleased Newcastle won, they seemed at it from the off, whereas Liverpool looked really out of sorts. Regardless of all the ownership issues etc. they deserve success for their passionate supporters. |

He has done a great job, but to be honest we are just an average Championship club with little chance of really pushing for promotion anytime soon. Unless there is a serious injection of cash clubs like ours are just treading water. I sort of liken us to the Preston North End of the south, always in the 2nd tier, dependable but nothing special. |

Yes the gap to the bottom 3 is shortening, a little worrying, we have lost the knack of winning games, maybe the international break might be the reset we need i.e. last time there was a break we lost to Leeds then had the break and we came back and went on a positive run. |

Decent game, in the first half we actually converted the only chances we had. Always felt if we went ahead and a bonus to get two ahead would not lose and so it proved. Overall draw a fair result and at the end Leeds could have snatched it. From where I was in upper loft thought Saito's sending off was a bit harsh, will need to look at it on playback to see if that is the case. |

This season has been stop, start and stop again for Illias and with the latest injury unlikely we see him play again this season. Think if we got a decent fee, north of £5m and both the club and player are happy with the deal then probably time for him to move on in the Summer. Been a good servant for QPR. |

You make some great points, we are quickly turning into the team I was witnessing in September and October, especially away from home. The point on the strength and size of players needed for this League is really valid, our midgets especially up front can't cope with the physicality of 6 foot plus opponents and they get muscled off the ball quite easily. Yang is really looking out of his depth at the moment, Saito who I think is a great little player struggled yesterday. Smyth can do a decent job but again physicality a problem against bigger units. Boro, West Brom, Sheffield Utd, Millwall etc all look much more powerful through the team. For me the physicality and general height of the team especially midfield and attack is a concern, if we remember back to the Warburton days of a 4 or 5 years ago he made similar comments that teams in the Championship that lack height do suffer. Trouble is we bought Madsen for his height in midfield but so far he has been a bit a right dud, even Marti does not trust him. A bit worried for Leeds on Saturday as confidence has gone again and whereas in January when we were looking more solid and assured that has gone. The bottom line for me is, even when I watch from my seat in Upper Loft if we go a goal behind just do not feel confident that we can get back into a game, go a goal up and it is better they seem to rally. |

Two journey options share driving with a mate from Northampton, if he does not go then usually get the train from Northampton to Euston. If I don't drive or I come down by train meet another mate before the game for beers at the Richmond. |

So pleased you mentioned that France team circa 1982 to 84, they were such a brilliant team to watch, with Giresse, Platini, etc. West Germany were so industrial during this period but ground out results, the Schumacker assault one of the biggest fouls in World football. If France had got to the 1982 World Cup final no doubt in my mind they would have beaten the Italiens. [Post edited 3 Mar 20:12]
