Thank you to the current board for your work - what amazing news. Seems like we're not going under with lots of debt nor are we a non-league team. Bottomley, you're a c**t and I hope you're crying again with your cronies. Up The Dale Not For Sale! |

Oh I’m not for one moment saying he’s league one standard but you knew he’d battle which is more than can be said for half of the squad right now. When Wimbledon and Bradford come here and put 4 past us, that says a lot. Yes Bradford were playing ok at the time but they’re where they are for a reason. Hill won’t go, in a way I don’t blame him but if I was rubbish at my job for two years, I know where I’d be heading! |

I apologise if I annoy anyone or seem to be repeating what so many are saying. There was a time when I looked forward to Saturday afternoons whereas now it’s a chore! I love this club like everybody else on this board and I understand people have different opinions but this man is ruining our football club. We have no style of play, we have players in the squad and out, players who start having not been in the squad for a few games, there’s no consistency. In the battle last year you knew who was going to play, you knew what they were going to offer. Cannon and Kitching’s grit, Davies off the bench, yes he’s fat but he scores. There’s no fight, our form is awful, our home form, Hill turning on the fans. On Hill, he may be the best manager we’ve ever had but look at Mourinho, he WAS a good manager - you get away with your personality traits if you’re getting results but when you don’t, the arrogance and ego of the man is even worse and unbearable. We have to take action and do so now. We are down but surely the board have got to look at the fans? I’m sure many others don’t enjoy going to watch us at the moment but we do because we support and love this club. Keith Hill, you may be the best manager we’ve ever had but now you’re done, your time has surely got to come to an end, your tactics and team selections are shocking. Your ego, your arrogance, it’s too much. Too many things have happened this season, directors, Dunphy, it’s not a coincidence. Take action now. |

Non league beckons. I don’t know the ins and outs of our finances and maybe the board do believe Hill is the right man, but can we afford to go down? Can we afford the loss of away followings? Really worrying times, the next few days are massive, we all know we’re going to lose at Peterborough and probably a heavy loss too. |

Nail on the head. I accept what we are as a club, I know we’re never going to be the flash type and I like that. However, to suggest the fans know nothing, to constantly try to take on the fans is what’s out of order. There aren’t many of us to begin with, he should appreciate that and realise that you can’t please everyone in life. I booed at the final whistle and why? Because of the sheer arrogance of the man, he thinks he’s better than everyone else and he thinks he’s special, we all know how it’s ended with Mourinho and the only reason it hasn’t been the same here is because he’s managed to brainwash the majority. He is past it, he is losing the plot but everyone else is to blame apart from the man himself. |

I’m sorry but even in the first half I didn’t think we were that good, they missed a penalty (an awful one at that). The second half showing is an embarrassment, 4 goals against us again, 17 goals in conceded in 4 games!! I’m sorry how can anyone put up with that? They’ve got some good players but when you’re giving them gifts like Norman did, you know what’s going to happen, and we signed him until the end of the season! Matty Done was born offside, Ntlhe and the rest are useless, Hill just go, please. Peterborough away on Saturday, we’ll be lucky if we only concede 4 there. Embarrassing. Gutless. Spineless. Hill out. |

Sat here watching this is so painful, awful performance, no player showing anything and Gillam and Williams are not footballers. Hill go, just go to give us at least a chance of staying up! Anything down that left hand side of our defence scares me. Hill out! |
| Forum Reply | Doncaster match thread at 15:41 1 Jan 2019
He has to go, simple as that, been saying for months that we’re falling dramatically, rubbish football, no guts, no passion, no leaders. He looks for everyone else to blame but himself, it’s a lottery to guess which keeper is starting, players consistently played out of position. Keith Hill, please go because I love this club but you’re making watching us unbearable, do the right thing for yourself, the club and the fans and leave. If you don’t, league 2 is a certainty. |

I’ve been saying this for a while now, I want Hill out. None of this we’re punching above our weight malarkey, we used to play such good attacking football, no fear, beat everyone at home and the big teams used to dread coming to Spotland - now it’s a question of how many we concede. It’s the same mistakes every week, loads of changes every game, can’t decend set pieces and this is a good squad we have! Oh, Zach clough? Everyone was really excited to see him, instead we have to put up with Williams? Hendo in midfield? Same shit every week, it’s time to move on Hill, thank you for the amazing seasons but time for a new man to come in. |

My whole point as I’ve made a couple of times on here is that we are hyped up. Semi finals sounds like a fantastic achievement and in some respects it is. However, when you analyse it further, it’s not that impressive, Panama are awful and teams like that shouldn’t go to the World Cup. We lost three times to the only two decent sides we played - I’m discounting Colombia because of James not playing, if he did then they’d have beaten us too. We played Sweden in the quarter final of a World Cup, that’s when you should be playing the big boys, not a solid championship side. Croatia showed Henderson for what he really is, I don’t understand how he’s come out with so much credit from the tournament and you look at Belgium, topped the group, knocked out Brazil, got beat off a very good French side and then convincingly beat us. The whole forfeiting the last group stage game still irks me because we’ve beaten nobodies and suddenly this is a very good England side? The fact is, they’re not very good, just like the rest but they didn’t have the draws that we’ve had in previous tournaments but I’d still rather see us play the big boys than going out to a decent Croatian side. Of course they could beat France today, unlikely though. The amount of space between the midfield and their defence is where Griezmann, Mbappe et al will thrive. |

Only just seen this, I and most others assumed Rodriguez would be fit, I was wrong. I was wrong that they would beat us but if James was fit, I have no doubt they'd have beaten us. He's their heartbeat and everything good about them. Imagine us without Kane and having Vardy and Rashford up top - completely different team. I'm absolutely delighted we went through. On penalties too, unheard of. Having said that, I still have my doubts, we created very little in open play, we conceded from a set piece again. The substitutions and game management was poor, taking Alli and Sterling off for Dier and Vardy meant we had no link between midfield and attack. Sweden will be a tough test, they're defensively sound, good from set pieces and have a couple of good players. I'd still rather play Brazil, I want to see us against the best rather than the mediocre sides. |
| Forum Reply | Match thread: Belgium at 15:08 29 Jun 2018
You should go into every game to try and win it! Try and win the group and then beat whoever is in the way, not avoiding teams because we're scared. Colombia are a very good side, they have pace and strength everywhere, they'll expose our weaknesses and what has happened in the past is irrelevant - I'm talking about the two current sides. Southgate deliberately avoided the possibility of playing Brazil in the quarters. It's cowardice. |
| Forum Reply | Match thread: Belgium at 14:29 29 Jun 2018
Well we knew who we'd be playing before our game and at 1-0 down Southgate brings on Welbeck...doesn't that show a lot? I'd honestly love to see England win a knockout game! Would England beat Japan? More than likely. Will England beat Colombia? Probably not. Therefore, Southgate has thrown away the chance of progressing further in the world cup than we have for a long time because he's already looking beyond Colombia. It's arrogant and a big mistake. |
| Forum Reply | Match thread: Belgium at 12:01 29 Jun 2018
Of course we have some positives, every team does. The point I'm making is that trying to avoid the bigger and better teams in a world cup stinks of cowardice and I'd much rather go out to a Brazil than a Colombia or Switzerland. It's almost as if getting to the semi final is as good as winning it - you should go out to win every game and when Colombia do beat us there's going to be some questions and a bit of a backlash. |
| Forum Reply | Match thread: Belgium at 11:03 29 Jun 2018
Colombia will beat us, they've got exactly what we wouldn't be able to cope with - pace and power. Of course they could be missing James but the likes of Cuadrado would cause untold problems for us. I thought last night was disgusting from us, who are we to assume we'd beat Colombia? If we'd have won then we would have played Japan and possibly Brazil in the quarters but with the way this world cup has gone, who knows? We've gone into a game without trying to win, Rashford has shown how overrated he is, a cruise ship turns quicker than Dier. This will come back to bite Southgate and everyone else who thinks we'll easily make it to the semis because Colombia will beat us. |

People are really that sad? I couldn't imagine having such a meaningless life. |

Why do you actually post on here? Or should it be hear? You never post anything constructive so surely you're wasting your own time. You're becoming incredibly tedious with all the negative things you say. For what its worth, Delaney is a very good defender but not premier league level. |
