Of course... although the FO bit doesn't apply to me as I lived in Rochdale for most of my life |

Well it depends on who and what you believe about our playing budget, some reports have it up to £1.8M for the coming season from £1.3M last. This is due to revenue from the new stand now kicking in... this isn't yet as much as expected as debts in the construction of it (which increased as the spec changed) are being paid off. My guess is it's about the same as last season in reality. But we have cleaned out most of last seasons squad, Kelly, Forte, Jones etc. will all have been on decent money, and we received fee's for Sheridan, Kelly, Coleman and a young 'keeper who joined Everton. So I think there's enough in the pot for the likes of Clarke, Flynn etc. who have come in. |

The sort of "bants" that can often come back to bite you on the arse that |

I think we've upset your rivals down the road by signing their captain and player of the season, they don't seem too chuffed about it |

The bill was paid a month ago, it was a clerical error by the courts. I would say the opposite; the original budget for the North Stand needed to be increased from £6.5M to £8M to incorporate the changes in the spec required by those businesses renting the space. This has lead to the revenue from the stand not hitting our bottom line and the increasing the playing budget this season as expected, it's being used to pay the debt down. Next season however that won't be the case, maybe Shez wasn't prepared to wait, non of us know his motives, though it's true to say we are all very disappointed that he's gone. I would argue that our new ability to generate revenue 365 days a year will in future years put us on a much better footing than the likes of Dale who rely almost totally on match day revenue and selling your best players (yes I know we are selling our best players at the moment for the reasons stated above). Thank the lord for the likes of us that bring 3000+ extra fans to Spotland, it like you have 2 extra home games a season Having said all this, if reports are to be believed (and I'm taking them with a large pinch of salt) then Steve Evans is about to be appointed and the playing budget increased to £1.8M for next season, so who knows what's really going on at Biffo Towers |

It was paid in full as was stated by the club and the case dismissed by the courts this morning with no further orders issued. |
| Forum Reply | Dale v Oldham: all ticket at 16:01 21 Oct 2015
2000 sold now, pretty poor really for a game a bus ride away, but it reflects the way the last 10 months have gone for us. I'd expect about 2300-2500 to travel now, but if the all-ticket restrictions are lifted then possibly a few more after last nights result. |

I doubt we will sell any at that price, our early bird discount period will have seen most of the season ticket sales snapped up at £350. I think that price was announced by the club to make sure we bought them early |

Ooops it seems I've got a nerve. Sorry. |

Going for the second promotion in a row and you have an away game 6 miles away and you're talking about 1300 going. Pathetic whichever way you look at it. |
| Forum Reply | Oldham away... at 07:45 24 Mar 2015
Brilliant! So some how having 40% of your home support at an away game is better than having 100% there haha! |
| Forum Reply | Oldham at 15:31 23 Mar 2015
Why would you need to go in the home end? You will probably all fit in the small section of our away end. |

With all the bollocks you're spouting about what a massive club Barnsley are and what a lovely place it is, it seems the '"my dad's bigger than your dad" attitude is very prevalent in your home town to me |
| Forum Reply | Loldham at 19:10 11 Mar 2015
I worked in Barnsley for two years, it's a shithole. What awful elements do Bradford and Oldham have (and on a smaller scale Rochdale)? |
| Forum Reply | Loldham at 16:51 11 Mar 2015
Brilliant, someone from Barnsley describing other places as a shithole! |
| Forum Reply | Loldham at 16:46 11 Mar 2015
Maybe Barnsley, Donny and Rotherham could merge and become a similar size to the Sheffield clubs? |
| Forum Reply | My bumper all things Oldham thread. at 16:23 5 Mar 2015
Perhaps you could give us that little covered standing terrace behind the goal as well next time so we can all fit in? |
| Forum Reply | New Manager for Barnsley at 21:22 26 Feb 2015
Well at least your proved my argument about your shite support, you can even be arsed to travel 6 miles to see your team. |
