Keith John Hill (born May 17, 1969 in Bolton, England) is an English former footballer, currently manager of Barnsley. As a player, Hill was a central defender. A pessimistic, recovering alcoholic, Hill is also known to wear coats/jackets similar to those a school teacher would wear, complete with leather patches on the elbows. He has a huge admiration for birds of prey, especially kestrels. Keef is a keen family man. He and his son Sidney devote every Wednesday to a father and son swimming day. Unfortunately a lacklustre performance by Barnsley against Burnley (no, they're not the same side) on Tuesday 14 February meant that Keef had to cancel the teams planned day off the following day meaning little Sidney's trunks remained chlorine free. Fortunately however a win the following Saturday against Portsmouth means that hopefully 'ar Sidney' may finally get to see his dad recreate Peter Kay's famous 'top bombing' at the local baths. Here's to you Sidney. | |
