Luke Williams - Legal action? 07:01 - Jan 19 with 2055 views | OptimisticJack | I've posted on another thread the dramatic decrease in our performances in the past 3 weeks. On Boxing Day our first half performance against QPR was probably our best half of football since WBA under Laudrup. We followed it up with an excellent hard fought home win against Luton on the 29th December. That win left us just a few points off the play off spots. Around that point the Luke Williams links to WBA emerged and things started to go dramatically wrong. Losing 4 nil away to relegation placed Portsmouth on New Years Day was a dramatic turn around to say the least. That was followed by a farcical few days before the WBA home game with all the speculation about Williams moving to WBA. A major distraction to our preparation for our home game against WBA a few days later when we completely fluked a draw. How that was achieved goodness knows. Our cup match at Southampton was a complete disaster all down to team selection. The match was a complete farce. The club has fallen apart at the seams since winning against Luton on 29th December followed immediately by the WBA/ Williams fiasco. This is likely to have a huge financial impact on the club. 1. Losing out on a play off place which seemed a good possibility approaching the new year. 2. A loss close to 1 million pound by getting knocked out of the FA Cup. 3. A potential loss of millions of pounds losing Harry Darling who it seems was close to signing a new contract moving into the new year (as it was reported on this site prior to the Portsmouth match). The drastic turn of events is down to one person - the manager Luke Williams. All the talk about compensation having to be paid to Luke Williams by terminating his contract should change to that of us taking legal action against Luke Williams and receiving financial compensation from him for the millions he has cost our club in lost revenue in just 3 weeks. Luke Williams - Legal action? on 07:23 - Jan 19 with 1943 views | swancity | Legal action due to a downturn in results ? Absolutely not. It’s not even a consideration. I’d like to be speaking to our players about their attitude. Managers and coaches are constantly being linked with other jobs. It’s the norm. Luke of course showed his inexperience and handled the WBA link ( if there was one ) badly on his own admission. I agree that the QPR showing was excellent. And since the Luton game we have been very poor. In three games we have been terrible as we all know. But IMO it’s best that he’s given the chance to rectify things. We were doing quite nicely up to Christmas and there were encouraging signs.

It goes far deeper than just a downturn in results. There's far more to this affair than just that. Too much damage has been done. Williams situation is untenable to be able to turn things around. [Post edited 19 Jan 7:33]

We may have no choice, not until the end of the season anyway. Proving that his actions resulted in those points mentioned would be nigh on impossible. Vincent Tan may have a go at something like that though😁

I know what you are saying and did think of Tan"s unusual legal challenges when making the post. We live in a world where there are many unusual litigation cases. If nothing else it would help force a deal between both parties. [Post edited 19 Jan 17:29]

As you know we’ve said it many different ways over the past four weeks. Even today.

Remember back to the Potter appointment, 2 weeks after getting the job, Potter and his team were about to walk but were persuaded to stay by Jenkins.

Luke Williams - Legal action? on 18:33 - Jan 19 with 367 views | max936 | No court would be able to prove that he's cost the club millions, its football no one could claim that the results or circumstances would have been different it Williams hadn't had his head turned, its all hypothetical nonsense. Dear me. Id expect to read this nonsense from another poster, but not you, you're better than that.

I think we are so desperate we are looking at any option, viable or not.

Is right We are desperate, literally We are also disparate I’ve commented previously as to why the home crowd is so commotose and why thousands have walked away ,often to derision from the Great One . We have seen our expectations lowered by Levein and Kaplan and our administration is beyond mad . We are a sick club right now . It’s. Big job but one that can be done
