Why would anyone post on here so often and not watch the games. Resolven takes a lot of stick which to me higjlights that people sometimes reply differently depending who the poster is. I don't think he is good enough but it's all about opinions.

Four years ago "well Gyorkeres never did anything for us and we on the basis of that were right not to make an offer." That is the narrative 4 years ago.Even Cooper got it badly wrong. Players like this develop and improve. Cullen has taken 4 years to make an impression and still cannot head the ball. I for one wrote him off. I never played much football but watched Swansea since Toshack times. I focus more on financial aspects. My football contributions usually as with this one is a question. MPH has. 3 goal and 3 assists. I trust Williams to judge him as a he sees him every day and can monitor I his improvement and character. I will not be put on the defensive by WR or anyone else. I watch Swansea city including u21 games when I want to at a time and place of my choosing and I am not answerable to anyone. [Post edited 7 Jan 17:28]

I do not justify myself to anyone. I watch all Swansea games in one form or another and do not claim to be an expert. I ask the question for the "experienced experts" to answer. No one on here said " I see something in Gyorkeres" MPH 3 goal 3 assists Eom 0 goals 1 assist Franco 2 goals 1 assist. ( Two recent goals) Bianchini 2 goals no assists. Goals are important His stats on his own are the same as the three others combined. [Post edited 7 Jan 17:41]

Is Peart Harris available to buy,? on 17:51 - Jan 7 with 1504 views | swancity | Peart-Harris would be a good acquisition. Definitely got something about him. And heās young enough to continue an upward trajectory in terms of improvement as he gains experience. Depends on his wage expectation but you sense that he is a London lad who might not be too keen on the move.

Darren Pratley another. 6' ft midfielder joined from Fulham after a loan spell at Brentford at the same age as MPH. He gave excellent 5 years of service and was happy to leave London for game time. He chipped in with vital goals with his feet and head.

Relax. Iām just saying itās.a fair point. The trouble with not watching games and just looking at numbers, is MPH compares favourably to Franco in your book.

I would be happy to sign him if the price was right, nice to see him come on in the advanced midfield role for the tiring Cullen as opposed to out on the wings. Yes there are issues that would need looking at but there are issues all over the park.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I am relaxed. I just make an argument that MPH stats are pretty good and Brentford would accept an offer if Williams sees something in him. Swansea need to buy " slow burners" to be developed. Eom who looks the part is not delivering. Football results are determined by goals. Cullen would have missed that thumping header MPH scored. He mistimes all his headers.

What I liked about him when playing out of a tight position in our area after receiving the ball from Grimes on the right hand side of the penalty area he didn't blast it to no-one, he didn't put Grimes in a bad situation by playing it straight back to him to his feet , instead he played the ball into space on the touch line behind the oncoming player press making Grimes, who had no intention of moving into space to recieve the ball, forcing him run forward onto the forward pass opening the whole flank for us able to progress up the park with ease, just by playing one simple easy ball and not dropping us in do do.

And the times he just put his foot on the ball like a show pony and shite out. The times he wanted to be the centre of attention instead of playing the simple ball. The times he went missing and the times he bottled a tackle. Yes football is all about opinions not stats.

We played well but the score was a 3-1 loss. What matters there a good performance or your opinion on it? Remember the score is a stat also

I agree but he made Grimes do what Grimes should be doing time and time again, moving into a position that benefits the team, not to go back within a yard of a play to recieve a ball to then give it back to them, you talk about showboating isn't that exactly what Grimes has done it for years, the new rules for goal kick just seem to reinforced the playing out from the back at all cost and teams are getting sucked into doing it, going nowhere and inviting pressure on themselves so games swing from looking like superstars in one half to bargin basement players in the next, it would seem even Man City go sucked into the mind set of playing out from the back at went on a pretty poor run by their standards. There are other factors in Man City 's poor run like loss of players I know but at time one size does not fit all. It is a team game and you have to build it around the players at your disposal and play to their strengths getting the best out of players William's has taken a very cautious approach in his selection and to say a number of players are not playing in their natural positions is an understatement. It is what it is but it is easy to single out individuals as I have just done with Grimes, trying to look at the future and not dismissing younger players out of hand looking for good points to build on. Sorry for the rant but there a lot of good player out there and if they can learn from others it may help the team in the long run.

He played a simple ball forward that kept us moving to get us on the front foot, same as the goal he scored he followed up his cross with a forward thinking run into the box, lots of players lose the ball by trying to put their foot on the ball. Every player in the team has come in for critism and rightly so but maybe some praise should be given at times, in the game in which Pearl-Harris scored he did give a full blood change in front of the East stand which was met with approval if that can be encouraged then I'm sure more of the same would be welcomed. My point would be it is not all solely down to the player. Ntcham started a game in a defensive midfielder role and we promptly went 1-0 down, his position was changed straight away because he was asked to play in a role he is unaccustomed to doing. I feel the same could be said of Pearl-Harris but until he plays in his preferred position I cannot be proven to be correct it is just a feeling he is a better player than we are seeing. Won't be the first time I have gone of on a tangent and won't be the last. [Post edited 8 Jan 8:36]
