Trump in lead and favourite to be next president Covid truth coming out Proof of bribery to lockdown and collapse economies VX truth coming out more and more Censorship is now obvious Child abuses being announced by celebrities But, wait for it !!! The big event is yet to happen to try and hide the criminals behind all this. Is WW3 going to happen? Another fake pandemic? Massive financial collapse? Event bigger than 911 in the US? Alien invasion (fake of course) Or something else? What do you recon?

Something huge is brewing!! on 17:02 - Mar 11 by controversial_jack | The oceans emit it too when they warm. So, do you see how it all balances out naturally? It takes time, but it balances out eventually. The organisms that died are hydrocarbons, which contain co2. Same with planting more trees, they absorb co2, but when they die the co2 goes back into the atmosphere or land. There is only so much co2 on the planet, we cannot take it away or add to it, that's why being carbon neutral is not possible |
Well that's not a balance is it? It's a cause and an effect. Similar to El Nino. The ocean is the biggest carbon sink on the planet. For us to have a balance we'd need to plant sufficient vegetation to absorb all the historic Co2 from fossil fuels we're emitting. We're not, we're destroying it. Before you consider other greenhouse gases. [Post edited 11 Mar 18:46]

Yes, it’s a balance between the atmosphere and oceans. What happens to the co2 the plants and trees die, it’s released again

In an intact ecosystem dead plants and trees are the basis for life for all kinds of animals and plants, playing an essential role in providing nutrients and habitats. Much of the carbon is consumed or trapped in the soil.

And absorbed by the offspring of those plants and trees. Unless, of course, we cut them down. There is a balance but we upset that balance [Post edited 11 Mar 19:50]

As has been explained. If Co2 if doesn't get absorbed by vegetation - more co2 , will equate to more and better plant life, it will be absorbed by the oceans or the atmosphere. The earth regulates itself.Yes. we have very slightly altered the balance, but that's very small and only temporary. Humans have put 0.4% of 0.4% of co2 into the atmosphere.

As has been explained. If we chop down the vegetation, pollute the oceans killing Carbon absorbing phytoplankton, burn fossil fuels, use industrial scale agriculture etc we upset the balance. Massively more than solely what we emit becasue we are also destroying what normally regulates Carbon. What happens? Global warming. What happens to the Oceans on a warmer planet? It gets warmer. What happens in a warmer ocean? It emits rather than absorbs Co2. Hence the casue and effect I mentioned earlier. That's the tipping point to a bigger mass extinction than is happening already. Also this isn't restricted to Co2. Methane and Nitrous Oxide are worse. Sorry, but we've got to do something because it's real.

We are actually in a low C02 period and man is only adding a very tiny proportion to the atmosphere. Yes, we chop down vegetation, and that should be stopped. However, more co2 will make the vegetation come back stronger, also agriculture will benefit. We can't upset the balance in the long term as the earth will regulate. What humans add is tiny in percentage to the atmosphere Methane again is natural. The yanks blew up nord 2 and released 800 million tons into the atmosphere, so anything we can do has been dwarfed by this. As i stated, relax, chill out , nothing is going to happen

All greenhouse gases are natural, but when people want to eat lots of beef and drink lots of milk we need more cows, when people want to eat loads of rice we need more paddy fields. Co2 levels have been higher , most recently about 50 million years ago, but Earth was uninhabitable by humans. That's potentially where we are heading in an extreme case. In that case the long term makes no difference. You state a lot of things. Most of which are wrong or you clearly don't understand (but think you do), some people think you delibertaely wind people up. I don't. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

A warmer planet and a warmer ocean also results in more water vapour in the atmosphere which is the single biggest driver of the greenhouse effect so it’s a bit of a vicious circle.

More water vapour would result in more rain when it condenses, The planet regulating itself again

That's like saying we can't make bread. All we can do is combine flour, yeast, water and salt.
