On hearing the news its still a shock despite the warnings and speculation.
I will be forever grateful to Keith and Flicker for the promotion and play off final, and near miss, and the way in which we attacked teams after the dross of Parkin. Our standard of play during that period was better than anything I can remember- Accy away (Higgy) still brings a smile. And of course this season, some great wins over teams that expected to come here and spank us.
So Keith and team are heading over the hills where accents are thicker than ours and It would be easy to get all bitter and twisted, and whilst your angry that's understandable and biblical references can slip out. I wish them well.
Timing is not great,but for me this is an opportunity to push on again. Chris Beech could well be a master tactician and motivator and even have a good relationship with the fans! And if Chris is not quite ready then there will be a fair old pile of C.V.'s in the mail to choose from.
We have a problem to solve but have been here before and I have confidence in this Board to sort it.
Onwards and upwards.
