There were a lot pf people on Saturday thinking they could sit where they liked. The whole point of buying a specific seat is that you have to sit in it. It needs proper lighting so that the infirm can see the different levels that they need to negotiate and the obstructions in place. As you say, there's going to be a mishap on Pearl Street. | |

You're right to highlight this, Shun Exited the ground that way on Saturday, and it's an accident waiting to happen Creating a hazardous bottleneck is precisely the wrong way to go about allowing fans to disperse safely post-match. A similar obstacle presents itself outside the Pearl St too, with the car barrier creating an obstruction forcing people into a bottleneck Club: we're all trying to be patient whilst you improve things that need improving. Someone I know has a country season ticket and still gets a ticket emailed to them once they’ve contacted the club to let them know the game they wish to attend. Seems a bit pointless to me when they’ve already been sent a physical card. | | | |

Irrespective of all that, and the club have done well getting extra people there to help, it’s a false economy at Dale as with one cash turnstile for each stand it removes many of the issues. No queuing for tickets at the ticket office or dealing with problems with those trying to scan on their phones (happened in front of us on Friday) and actually less staffing costs in terms of time to have one person on the cash turnstile. If we’re losing one fan, it’s too many. Especially if there’s a simple solution. | |

Totally agree. Just because most people have mobiles and computers, doesn't mean most people use them. People are forced into it and even I can't get used to dealing with everything by email. If my Dad was still here he would think it both crazy and financial suicide. Over the season I would like to hazard a guess of around a £50,000 loss of gate receipts. Are we so rich we can turn our noses up at this? The chairman needs to rethink this and it was the wrong time to spring it on fans after 18 months away. There are older people living alone who perhaps had Spotland as an only contact with the outside world. For some this has now been taken away. The club attitude is never for the benefit of the fan, they are the last to be thought of. | | | |
