Is there any evidence that pubs have been a hotbed for spreading Covid? In September last year Greene King's 1700 pubs had received only 17 contacts from Track and Trace. But when schools and universities re-opened.... cases exploded. This is nuts. |  | |  |

The guidance to residents of Rochdale on the council website if you plan to visit a pub garden from Monday:
You should only socialise in groups of no more than 6 (Rule of 6) or 2 households.
Contact venues before your visit — you will need to book a table.
You must order, eat and drink while seated (table service only).
You must wear a face covering when you're not sitting at your table, unless you're exempt..
Businesses will need to display the official NHS QR code posters so that you can ‘check-in’ at different premises using this option as an alternative to providing your contact details to support the NHS Test and Trace process.
Businesses may close earlier than usual.
Venues will be operating at reduced capacity.
