You are right we haven't, which further shows just how poor & fickle Pompey's support has been over the last century or so, you can beef up your average with the odd 35k plus or even 49k, thats something we cant do as we had a smaller ground, makes our superior average all the more remarkable

Ill send a SAE over so you can send back my fish hook

Ive lost interest now, why are Pompey fans so obsessed with the entire world thinking they are the best fans in it, exept your place in the pecking order, we do, penty of clubs have had 50,000 record crowds and won the odd title or two, they don't seem to keep harping on about it as you lot do.

Pompey must still be hoping for a return to those heady days of 50,000 attendances. That can surely be the only explanation for leaving that total sh*thole exactly as it was 70 years ago.

Why the daft questions?

If a club has a capacity of 32,500 how could they possibly achieve any more?

Unless you're storytellers like Little Pompey who by all accounts took 5-10k to away games in the 70-80-90's, but never got that many for plenty of home games?
Strange but true.

Those stats just prove Pompey is the bigger club. All of those seasons in a lower position, including a number of years in the bottom flight and yet even with your cheating figures there is hardly any difference between the clubs.

And Hull were brand new in the 2nd league you goon, after winning the 3rd North league the season before. Meanwhile, Pompey had already won the English league, and were defending it, so the same excitement wasn’t there.

Pompey have a 2,500 higher average attendance in the top league. That stat alone says Pompey are a bigger club.

SFC have had over a hundred years to build a stadium capable of holding over 32.5k. They only have themselves to blame for being such a small club when the masses were standing on the terraces.

It's like the won sportsday at school but once they got into the real world they proved it was just a bit too hard for them to cope so ended up having to get bailed out by the parents all the time but they still think they are the bestest in the world as they won the under nines long jump.

This is a bit silly really . Ask 100 Saints fans who is the bigger, more successful
and most respected club in Football they will say Saints

Ask 100 skates they will say Pompey .

Let’s put it this way ....ask 100 neutrals the same question I’m pretty sure around 3/4 or more would answer Saints.

Seriously 130 what do you think they would say ?
