Bunney never has or never will be a left back.
Weak link in the team. Feel for BBM.

Friday's game against Wycombe is going to be even more stressful. The goal difference is already shafted but I hope this doesn't bring back old issues.
Interesting that Coventry are winning 5-4 at Sunderland. I didn't think they were much good last week.

Finished 4-1. Roll on Friday....

Strangely, being out of the bottom 4 after today, almost seems like a result........

Definitely. At the beginning of March i'd have bitten hands off to be in this position

Long way back for our away fans today, but the team have done everything we might've expected of them since then, and need to remember that

Handful of Daley’s flew there and are flying back this evening. Never going to win that one realistically but a few weeks ago Accrington would have put three or four past us. We can beat Wycombe.

Think we'd have all took our current position when Hill left. Still in our hands, six points from the next 3 games please and we should be ok.

Current form of teams around us:
Wimbledon 14 pts from 7 games are the only ones with a decent record.
Wycombe’s win at Southend was their first in 13 - they’ve 6 points in those games now.
Accrington 7 pts in 10 games.
Walsall 7 pts in 14.
Scunthorpe 5 pts in 10.
Southend 5 pts in 13.

Dale 11 points in 7 games since BBM took over.

What we don't want is a heavy defeat that saps confidence, so hoping for a decent effort this half. A day for keeping an eye on other scores (and Lancs cricket - nice to see Hameed getting a ton and Jones too).

Would have definitely taken being out of the bottom 4 having got the Sunderland and Pompey games out of the way. All to play for and loads of teams in the mix. Accy's run in is horrible so they're not out of it yet.

No lack of effort from Bunney but he's not a left back, it really needs addressing in the summer regardless of what division we're in. Ebanks had a decent first half (other than the reckless tackle for the pen.) but looked rattled in the second, McNulty had a steady game. Best players for me were McLaughlin and Rathbone but nobody was outstanding. We never gave up and there's no shame in getting beat, Pompey are a good side but I think they'll struggle in the Championship should they go up.

As an aside, does anyone know what the random cheers from the Pompey fans at different points throughout the game were all about? Never did work that one out.

Being in the away end you would not have been able to see the big screen above your heads. The random cheers were every time it flashed up that Coventry had scored at Sunderland. That was a big result for us.

As regards the game l was impressed with Rochdale despite the scoreline. You play good, attacking open football. I was worried when you got it back it back to 2-1 because of your excellent movement and passing. At the end of the day though you were too open at the back and our forwards always looked capable of scoring more. Hope you stay up,
