The Ian Cameron aspect is hardly new, the story was first out there in 2012; funnily enough people didn't seem as enamoured with the story then. What I find ironic is Dianne Abbott is happy enough to rant about the panama leaks in the Guardian. The same Guardian who use off shore schemes to avoid paying tax themselves. Then again, she's meeting the evil 1% for a lunch in Zurich in the not too distant future, so it seems like political opportunism.

Why? For pointing out the bleeding obvious? The Ian Cameron story isn't new - was first reported in 2012. Zero direct evidence of the PM directly benefitting as yet. Labour cozy up to the Guardian - who have always been run via off shoring yet the clueless Abbott refuses to condemn said paper. It's all hypocracy. With 11.5m documents to go through, who knows what will be contained. Maybe even some of those lovely Labourites may be benefitting too? After all, Islington isn't cheap. The underlying problem is the tax system is vastly overcomplicated. One year HMRC issued me with 4 different tax codes - all the letters arriving the same day! A simplified tax system is far easier to run and regulate.

Cashakbe? Isn't that the striker that Bayram tried to sign with the money from the Ash sale?

Ahh the good old bigoted socialist Abbott. The same one decrying the lack of opportunity and elitism yet she sent her children to private school. Another that should have been packed off to Dignitas if you ask me I once commented on a Guardian article about their tax affairs and the post was removed. Broke the 'house rules' apparently [Post edited 5 Apr 2016 14:41]

Funny dat. It's ironic Guardian rail about tax avoidance, zero hours contracts yet have used and continue to use both. You've then got the great young hopes of the left like Owen (lol) Jones who deflect any charge of hypocracy by pointing out he just writes for the Guardian, doesn't mean he endorses their practices... Time to own up - Who has offshore dealings with that law firm in Panama on 16:02 - Apr 8 with 3900 views | felixstowe_jack | I think Sir Francis Drake has, he burnt the place down and stole their gold. I hear the Spanish press were upset about it. The French have they tried to build a canal but gave up as it was uphill. The Americans had to finish it off for them. A bit like WWI and WW2 and Vetniam but the Americans ran away there.

Time to own up - Who has offshore dealings with that law firm in Panama on 17:29 - Apr 8 with 3872 views | Nookiejack | If Ian Cameron placed allegedly £20m of assets offshore in Jersey. circa £2.m were declared in UK on his death. Does this then mean the beneficiaries of his Offshore trust/fund estate avoids 40% inheritance tax - that most people in London are now paying given houses prices have gone through the roof? Or will the beneficiaries be subject to inheritance tax if these assets are then transferred back onshore? Would seem quite easy if that is the case - sell up all your assets - place it in an offshore fund - move the assets back onshore when you die - your family/beneficiaries escape inheritance tax. Seems too easy?
