Had a triple heart bypass operation today. Should be fine but first leg of his tour with Vic has been cancelled. Have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times over the years and he is a really naturally funny guy and just a really normal, nice bloke. Get well soon Bob!
Came to the conclusion with a fellow Hoop that ' House of Fools ' is genius. You have to watch each episode at least a couple of times to see how much effort goes into a Simple premise sitcom - the scenery, audience recognition, decent do-stars, strange plots etc. Obviously not everyone's cup of tea, but give me it over most ITV Comedies or stuff like Miranda ( God forbid !). Ps. It's almost as good as Archer ! All the best 'the man with the stick !'

I saw vic and Bob a few weeks ago doing a warm up gig for their tour Within a minute of them coming on Bob was out of breath and panting, the audience were laughing at him coz he was out of breath after the first number. He said 'that's worth knowing isn't it' as in not to start with anything too physical.
We all just thought that age was catching up with him, Christ, when I read today he'd had a triple by pass, he could have done a Tommy cooper right in front of us.
Wish him all the best, for those on Twitter he's worth a follow.
Bob, can i thank you from the bottom of my heart for Talc 'n' turnip, which has only recently gone up on you tube. Comedy Cnts today could learn a lot. Genius.
The pubs floors of leadenhall market made the perfect dojo for Talc'n' turnip face off's for chinged up reinsurance brokers like me in the 90's.
Thank you.
