My mate's just bought a dodgy Sky box which has all the sports channels free, including BT and Irish Setanta, so there's a game on pretty much all the time. Only cost him £40. Now obviously I'm not endorsing such products, but it could be worth exploring if you don't have a problem stealing television.

Game is at 4.AM Tuesday morning for me so no chance of finding a pub
Same boat for me and unless it's Man Utd nobody seems interested in opening a bar all night for this one. Will try all the suggestions at 4am to stream it, otherwise it's a Twitter job.

If you are in the UK and are on a BT phoneline but not on a fixed contract, try ringing BT and seeing if they will add BT Sport for free. They rang me asking if I wanted broadband, declined but while they were selling offered me a discount on line rental for phone line and talked them into adding BT Sport for free for 12months as well. They would only give SD not HD but its a way of getting it for free if you are prepared to commit to BT phone for 12months, you just need to haggle with them

For those doing this for the first time, I'd say it's imperative to install the free Google Chrome (if you use that webbrowser) adblocker extension, which takes about 20 seconds. This will vastly improve the user experience by stopping a lot of the popups/adverts.

A better app for those using iPad and iPhone is live media player, search in the App Store and it should be the first in the list and is free to download. Once downloaded enter the channel you want to search for in the top right hand corner and away you go.
