Jesus Christ what match was we he watching. So Hoilett & Philips don't have pace. It is just one excuse after another with him. If the pre season was done right then maybe a few more of the players would have been ready. instead we do an autograph tour of Germany & Ireland which was Triffic for the fans. And this fitness thing he keeps going on about... We were utterly s**t from the very first minute. That's not fitness. That's attitude. That's preparation. Maybe if we were giving all our goals away in the last twenty minutes, then fitness may be used as an excuse.But our second half performances (Spurs, Man U, Soton for example) have actually been better (low bar I know) than our first half.

Putting things into perspective, we needed Harry to sort out the team after the mess Hughes left and he did a good job of that. If he had left after that and the board had found a good energetic replacement then he could have gone with good will from all sides and a nice pay-off. Problem is now he has stayed on too long and his shortcomings are becoming obvious. Somehow there has got to be a way for Harry to leave quite soon without embarrassment , because otherwise it will be a forced exit after relegation or after it's too late to prevent it.

More evidence that our scouts as well as our manager are not up to the job. We turned down this striker we could have got for 400k who obviously has potential and scored against us - why? Because he wasn't Crouch or Defoe or another of Harry's past it old boys that is why.
It seems to me the whole structure of the club that Fernandes has put in place is failing - not for the first time. Unless he deals with it now he will be eternally associated with failure relieved only by one lucky moment at Wembley which is already wearing very thin, almost to the point where it would have been better not to have happened, as that would have sent Redknapp into retirement where he belongs.
