New beginnings Written by Krog on Friday, 2nd Aug 2013 15:40 A new season is on the horizon, the european adventure begins new players settle in, new partnerships arise and a new fan forum website. New beginnings are found everywhere. What you read here is also a sort of a new beginning, the beginning of my status as a blogger. I thought id start my blogging experience with telling a bit of myself, my reason for blogging and what plans i have for my blog. I am 34 years old and i am from Denmark, and to all the people who is surely asking the question, yes i started following the Swans when they apointed Laudrup as their manager, making me a plastic i guess. I have been reading the planet-swans forum since i started following the Swans, havnt voiced my oppinion yet though, so when i saw the site was looking for bloggers i thought why not, ill give it a try. I love all things football and played myself for a long while until i got an injury, ironically it was while playing handball and not football. What first caught my attention was the way they played the game, not the typical long ball English style that most continent europeans associate with English football. I watched all the games last season, except the 1 - 0 win over Newcastle, and i liked what i saw. Fast free flowing attacking football even against some of the bigger opponents like Man City and Arsenal. Recently i saw the BBC documentary called something like Swansea, the fall and rise. The way the club had overcome hardship and the loyalty of the fans and some of the players made a huge impression on me and made me like the club even more. Reguarding my plans for the blog, im thinking it will be all things football, spiced with stories from the Danish media reguarding Swansea, since Laudrup Swansea gets a lot of media coverage in Denmark. To finish my first short blogging session id like to apologize for any spelling or grammar mistakes i make, being from Denmark English not my native language so please have some patience with me =) And feel free to contact me with comments on the blogs, ideas or whatever you like. I guess theres only one thing left to say in this new beginning, and that is congratulations to the Swans for winnning 4 - 0 against Malmo and good luck to all the other new beginnings surrounding the Club.
