fvcking incredible you blame siggy for our poor football. it's not his fault he played under shit managers like monk and bradley and was in some of the worst squads the prem had ever seen. imagine trying to play attractive attacking football with guys like routledge, goalmiss, carroll, and olsson in the starting lineup and the thing is, we actually played our best football when siggy was in the team. under brendan when he came on loan and lit up the league, scoring 7 times and assisting 5 in 18 games, we were a sensational side. the away game against fulham where we won 3-0 remains one of the best games of football i have ever seen from any team. it was utterly incredible. there's a reason why after that game the press started calling us "swansealona" |

your comment is pointless (and stupid). as good as siggy has been this season fraser has been even better. hands down one of the best players in the league so far. have you looked at the table? bournemouth are bloody 6th and he's been their talisman [Post edited 13 Oct 2018 12:01]

"Commercially we will see the benefits, we have professionals involved, true business people with contacts who will increase revenue. Better sponsorships and business partners to be tapped into." yeah, chris pearlman who we put on a salary higher than jenkins to lure him from his previous job of 12 years and who brought his family to south wales was tasked with finding us a shorts sponsor and the best he could do was to put low cost vans on our shorts. they'd already been sponsoring us, and for 7 years! what great professionals and contacts that required. not even abramovich and chelsea could have done that |

"We will be relentless in our determination to continually improve this club - and we have the financial resources to do so. We will be competitive and we will outwork our opponents on the pitch and in the boardroom." "We want to build a football club that is competitive...perhaps Swansea has been seen as a stepping-stone club for some players in the past, a chance to show what they can do in the Premier League before moving quickly on. Those days are over." “I think Huw has a tremendous football mind and he’s proven that over more than a decade. We want to make sure Huw and the club have the resources to succeed. We want to make a splash." these guys aren't businessmen. they're professional bullsh1t merchants and frauds. all they do is talk. |

I can't stop laughing at this thread. The stuff that's said in it...god. The dumb cretin of an OP knows less about football than anyone I've ever seen. How he thought this shower of shite was the second coming of the Invincibles and bummed Carroll and Clucas like they were Pogba and David Silva and sucked Clement's cock like he was Guardiola is incredible. Reading the superlatives and praise he expressed about one of the worst teams in PL history is downright nauseating. I'm glad he got what he wanted though. He bitched and moaned from the rooftops week after week about how nice it would be for Llorente and Sigurdsson to "fack off." Now that we're down I hope he's happy |

"We are better than Everton, we are better than Watford, Brighton and the 2 behind us. And we are mentally strong and ready for the run in." bloody hell this chump is so delusional there are no limits to just how stupid he is. there truly isn't. |

"Quite a few of the "£5m signings" have been decent enough." lmao Yeah, so brilliant we're just one point above the relegation zone with 3 games left to go and have been in this same state of fighting tooth and nail to stay up for the third consecutive year now. Some brilliance. |

McBurnie can't be considered a youth product of Swansea. He was already 19 when he came here and spent most of his time training with the first team or on loan with other clubs. He's a product of Bradford City and Leeds. |

pretty sure we're #1 in the "most managers sacked" table and the "highest severance payout" table funny jenkins and the yanks always feign poverty and say we have no money to spend in the summer but all of a sudden come december time they all of a sudden have boatloads of money to pay for the sacking of the manager and his staff and the money to hire a new gaffer and staff. clearly there's money there. they just want to keep it for themselves. shambolic stuff |

| Forum Reply | Jorge Mendes working for Swansea? at 21:12 19 Jan 2018
whether they're chasing paydays or not, one thing that can't be denied is that they are all excellent players and that Wolves is by far the best team in the Championship. they're currently 10 points clear at the top. practically the entire starting XI is made up of Mendes players, and the manager is a Mendes client as well (Nuno EspÃrito Santo). partnering with Mendes is the correct move. Braga, Rio Ave, Deportivo, Monaco, Atletico, Sporting CP, Benfica, Porto, Lazio, Man City, and Valencia have all benefited greatly by partnering with Mendes. it's not Mendes fault that out of the damn near endless sea of talent that he represents that we chose the worst one back in the summer (Sanches).
