so we the tax payer, ie LONDONERS will now have to pay for man utd development? we paid for ETIHAd / commonwealth stadium, we paid for the olympics , HS! etc
they have billionaire owners and this is their issue and theirs alone. |

surely in football, when you sit down for the manager/coach role, you ask questions like, do i have a budget, what is my pay, can i make loan deals??? ie the business stuff which football is.
as said no secret qpr have money worries, as many clubs do but as the only club fined under FFP it is common knowledge.
sadly under GA we played some awful footy and lost too many games. |

if we concede early lids may run over us. we are not on form, not scoring and they are.
can't see us winning but there is the beauty of it, anything can help. their goalie comes out 1st minute , clatters our plyer, penalty and red card, changes it.

i was at upton park for the drag back goal. wow! i recall west ham 2-0 up, Brooking was unreal that day, he controlled everything, we were literally lost, then they subbed him, cue us livening up, found space and drew 2-2 . allen scored both . |

RIP our Rick, when the news broke, i was gutted and cried. i met him a few times, he was polite, patient, very nice. no airs and graces. i avidly followed the JAM from 78 but had seen them and noted them on tv in 77, especially them on the MARC ( bolan) show.
sadly Bruce is quite ill too. many talk of how the jam let the fans in for the sound checks, stayed to sign things and chat to fans, who were mostly kids , how john , their manager also looked out for the fans . he has a twin brother , Pete . condolences to the family.
many talk of his drumming on funeral pyre but i was playing Move On Up last night , curtis mayfield song they covered , epic stuff. |

best part of the day was NOT BEING HELD BACK by police into the station, first time i have been there and we went straight thru to station, i saw no trouble and everyone squeezed onto the trains happily enough. |
