Opposition corners
at 23:06 19 Oct 2024

We used to bring Charlie Austin back to defend corners but he was actually good at It.

But yea you win the ball and then as you say you don't have an out ball so our defenders start yawning and give the ball away.

The rest Is history.....................

Is this on Nourry?
at 20:23 19 Oct 2024

*Is this on Nourry?*

It's on the Manager and players. Unless I've gone completely berserk no Manager would accept signings that he didnt want.

The performances and tactics on the pitch are In the main down to the players and the Manager who trains them not the CEO.

Summer recruitment…
at 18:51 19 Oct 2024

When the signings were announced I just thought, Hmmm well I've never heard of him (or her In some cases) so I'll leave It to the experts they must know what they are doing.

I can't deny but at the time I was pleasantly pleased that we were getting our business done early.

The start of the season was eagerly awaited, never In my wildest dreams did I think that by the 19th October we would be bottom of the league.

Somebody needs their arse kicking (but not by any of our players who'd probably miss the target).

All very disappointing.

This Is after a two week fixture break giving us and all other teams the opportunity to 'Iron out' our failings over the last 8-9 weeks.

I honestly believe we are getting worse.

You maybe need to keep this and post It after the Coventry game because It'll be exactly the same result/outcome.

Just tireless crap being regularly served up by the Manager and the players.

We're just circling the drain, aren't we?

There Isn't a club In this league that we'll beat not one hence why we're bottom of the league.

Our deficiencies on the pitch are well known and have been well known for an awful long time.

You are probably right but todays result had an air of inevitability about It.

We cant keep saying the same thing after each result.

This Is on the Manager, the players the whole goddam lot of them.

This shower are a mess.

I said after the last loss now we'll see how good Cifuentes Is, and here we are again.

Two weeks on the training pitch and they spent those two weeks on the training pitch learning how to become actually worse than they were two weeks ago.

For years I took my two lads and their two mates from the village to Swindon Speedway on a Saturday night.
Swindon was a big racing circuit and Invariably had plenty of good racing, the late Len Silvers Son Andy Silver rode for Swindon and was a good rider to watch seldom settled for second best.
We travelled all over the country watching and supporting Swindon, but there was always a risk that when you got there the meeting would be cancelled due to bloody rain.

One of Swindon's top riders Australian Leigh Adams Is now confined to a wheelchair as is another ex Australian and Poole rider the once brilliant Darcy Ward.

We were at a meeting one Saturday at Swindon back In 1982 when we got home we heard that one of our riders Martin Hewlett aged just 20 had collapsed and died shortly after the end of the meeting.

I reckon the estimates will be surpassed, I went to and bid on a few Items at the The John Entwistle Collection — Auction back In 2003 and bid on a fair few Items without any luck.
I go to a quarterly held auction https://www.gardinerhoulgate.co.uk/ and I've bought a few things over the years but you've got to be very careful, at the price the Item sells (Hammer) there Is 20% VAT plus sellers commission 17.5 %.

Internet bidders go a bit mental bidding especially foreign collectors.
