I wouldn't want it on in the same room as me at night. It would be too noisy for that. But if you get general humidity down to 40% then you are not likely to add enough yourself overnight to cause condensation.
It uses about 850W when on, so you can calculate the cost. (Once you hit target humidity it only comes on intermittently.)
I also use it on full power to dry clothes from washing machine in the bathroom this time of year. 3-4 hours does the trick for most stuff.
Boris' people have been in touch with Robin Tilbrook. They have been informed that Boris can sign a Consent Order to not contest the judicial review. He can do this without consulting Parliament. There is no legal redress once issued. It cannot be contested. It is in effect as soon as Boris signs the Consent Order. So when/if he does then we officially left the EU on 29th March 2019.
Boris has a big red button, and his finger hovers over it. Will he press it?
I saw Henning Wehn perform his 'Just Get On With It' stage act at the York Barbican last week. At one point he asks for a show of hands who would vote differently if the Referendum were re-run tomorrow. Very few hands were raised. He said it was much the same everywhere.
It was a very good show by the way. He's a Remainer who accepts the result. On the question of whether he would go back to Germany, he said that as he has 'no transferable skills' he's going down with us. ;-)
The Appeal is in. This relies on the Gina Miller case, which had wall to wall media coverage from its inception. Robin's case is receiving none. In fact his facebook page has been closed down.
Whatever the result, we get to see how the British Establishment works.

The affable Miles Jupp takes Andy Zaltzman, Andrew Maxwell, Desiree Burch and Rachel Parris for a delightful amble through the news. Produced by Victoria Lloyd for BBC Studios.
Why would anyone defend Trump? He wasn't joking when he made this speech.
He has a job to do, but I don't think he's any sort of Messiah. Keep an eye on the cuckoo in the nest Jared Kushner.
FISA declassification will reveal a failed US coup attempt. It has implications for certain sections of the UK security services which were complicit. Massive illegal state surveilance of US, UK, NZ, AUS, CAN citizens via Five Eyes agreement will come to light. So we should care about that, even if we think that Trump himself is an ungracious toad ;-) .
There's that to look forward to over the next few months. And then it will get really unpleasant.
Further evidence that The Guardian "entirely fabricated" a report that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort visited Julian Assange in 2013, 2015 and the spring of 2016; his passports...
"laying the groundwork for a General Election campaign" I think you are probably right. Even her own party don't know what she's up to. She's gone completely rogue.
Lucifer and 1/3 of the angels were cast out and are being kept out.
If you allow a BBC news item to convince you that Christians are bad people then that was the direction you were being choralled towards. You won't be alone.
* Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.
Which I believe Ebo inadvertantly fell foul of in suggesting that the couple were trying to whip up hatred amongst Jews.
If I were to agree with Ebo on the above I'd be guilty as well.
You really think this definition won't be used to trigger existing legislation? Or be used by social media companies to tag / shadow ban / ban people?
This is one of the very rare occassions where I'll defend J Corbyn and say well done for not allowing criticism of Israel to be conflated with anti-semitism. (Just as I don't conflate criticism of virulently anti-West strains of Islam with Islamophobia.)
>> I don’t think you understood my post. The point being them claiming something that isn’t true and yet look at the groups they belong to. They are trying to stir up hatred amongst Jews.
Ebo, I don't think you understood my post either. Whether I agree with your point above is irrelevant.
You have fallen into the trap set for you by the adoption of poorly scrutinised legislation, which now makes you technically guilty of anti-semitism for merely suggesting that someone may have pro-Jewish sympathies (whatever that may mean to them) which have precedence over national affiliation.
If you ever wish to have a political career in 15 years time (or even to become a social influencer of some sort) this post (and no doubt many others) will prove your anti-semitism and general 'poor character'. And if you don't take the hint a criminal prosecution can be arranged by TPTB.
Virtue signalling Internationalism and self censoring is the only way you can safely progress politically at the moment.
Ebo, are you accusing the Jewish couple Mark Lewis and Mandy Blumenthal of being "more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nation"? Because if you are, then you are guilty of anti-semitism since the UK signed up to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's (IHRA) definition of the term.
