Poor game today. First half was pretty equal, some decent passes. Morgans lovely ball across had to have someone on the end of it, frey has to be there for that and it could of been 1-0 and a completely different game. Varane and field were very negative today, backwards passes, especially varane, looks totally lost when he HAS to turn and face the opposition goal. Saw the impact of Morgan coming off , there was no one who had the ability to find the lofted passes behind/in behind like the one he done at hull. Chair was poor again , especially his deliveries. Paal unlucky to hit the bar which would of made it 1-1 Good thing all the other results went our way so still only 6 points off play offsš Response needed against millwall |

Such a slow tempo first half. This is the problem with varane and field as your 6 and 8. Both of them are so negative, get the ball and play backwards every pass. Need someone to get us up the pitch. Iād put Morgan in there with one of them as his passing can get us up the pitch. Kolli off for Frey, only 8 touches all half. If we can get up the pitch more we can win this comfortably. |

Defence was horrendous today , ashby multiple times giving possession away. Edwards positioning (not sweeping round for ashby was horrendous) doesnāt look at the level but give him a chance. Clarke salter pulled out a few tackles especially 5th goal, could of been more aggressive and taken everything . Overheard people talking about Kolli. Holding out for 7.5k a week! Not sure heās worth that much. Maybe 4 max . Scoring a few goals but gifted a lot of them, including today. Overall performance wasnāt great but up against experienced defenders. |

Morgan had his own page today in the Sun , getting quite the attention in the media. |

āOur midfielders canāt passā did you not watch Kieran Morgan yesterday! Some of them passes were ridiculously good, most were into the final third and over 80 percent success rate. Silly comment |

First half excellent, second half not as good but still itās a great result away from home at norwich. Need to find a way to play possesion based football with Morgan at the heart of it , was playing them off the park at stages today. Field was good as well and finally had more touches today with 40 odd. Morgan most touches for QPR with 63 but was tired towards the end but you would expect that. Chair was good I thought back to his usual self and worked his socks off. MOTM probably Dunne, Morgan, maybe even chair for workrate as well! Hopefully get a win at home on Wednesday. |

Was the best player in first half but he runs the most every week so canāt expect him to sustain that level for 90 mins and heās 18! |

What a half, finally some possession. 18 year old running the game with passing is a breathe of fresh air. Kieran Morgan been brilliant allowing us to finally get hold of a game and field sweeping up anything around the middle of the park. Letās get another and get the win. |

Hardly been in the game, varane and field 5 touches each the whole half in centre of midfield . Dunne and Morgan had the most touches with 18 each. Poor half |
| Forum Reply | Morgan at 21:00 21 Dec 2024
Was outstanding , runs the furthest every week and definitely did again today! Considering heās naturally a 6/8 he looked excellent in the 10 today and heās only 18! Mental |

Iām assuming it does. 19 touches, 4 successful passes out of 8 attempted. So Iām assuming so. Good point . Unbeaten in 6. |

Hides from the ballš, explain how you can have 19 touches on 95 mins without hiding from the ball? Iām not saying heās not good defensively, interceptions, tackles yeah heās good but in terms of on the ball, playing football . Our best performances have come with Varane x Morgan. They compliment each other way better, especially at home. |

Yes defensively ok. Silly foul for the goal. But still how are you touching the ball 19 times in 95 minutes. Iāll tell you how. Hiding from the ball. You need players who want to get on the ball or your going to get teams dominate you like today. |

Two goals on Wednesday. Defensively heās good but depends what you want from your midfield I suppose. Sit back and get dominated or actually play footballš«¢ but because he cleared off the line I suppose MOMš. 19 touches and 4 passes in 95 minutes. Varane had 45 + touches. |

Canāt be playing field and varane together, just doesnāt work. Varane was excellent , field on the other hand. š³ 19 touches in 95 minutes of football in the centre of the park. And 4 passes all game. Jesus. The two goals in the week covered up another poor performance on the ball. The midfield always gets dominated . Need to go back to Varane x Morgan. Atleast Morgan can pass and he gets us up the pitch! Good point though. |

What a win! Norwich looked lost for ideas with our high pressing which worked well again. Happy for Kolli who took his chances well despite questionable keeping for the secondš¤£ he looked sharp when he came on. Midfield we was solid with Morgan and varane and won the midfield battle comfortably. Varne started off shaky trying a maradona in his own half that nearly cost us a goal but he was solid after that. Morgan worked tirelessly and again a good performance, lost the ball a couple times but his passing is brave and forwards. Not surprised to see the stats that he covered the most ground comfortably again, he is KEY to this high press. Only worry again was madsens lack of involvement. Just 18 touches all match and clear marti saw him ineffective again. Defensively we was solid, Dunne having sainz in his pocket all match and cook and Morrison solid as ever. A massive win and have to take that into Wednesday and pick up 3 more points! Will be the same side I think just Madsen out and field back in for the match against Oxford. |
