Good points; I agree. Darling's stock has fallen with last 2 performances, imo. He's probably wondering why Sheff U didn't pick him up but I think Sheff U are thankful that they dodged a bullet & relieved that they signed Holding instead. Could it be LW's poor communication skills coming to bare? Most of his players seem lost on the field, and maybe a lot of the players are trying to figure how to save their careers and get out of Swansea. |

As someone on this chatboard has stated before, a PR person should assist LW with his talking points. He makes too many weird statements that can be taken the wrong way. |

LW needs to learn how to respond to reporters' questions regarding speculative reports. I agree with someone else's comments that AC and Swans ought to help him with his talking points before trotting out to the pre- and post-game interviews. With today's win, LW extended his stay. If Rovers want him, then get on with it so Swans can hire someone such as Rob Edwards. |

Keith, read Liam's column today. Yes, Williams may be safe for the next two games but if he doesn't get at least 3 points from these two games, then surely he should be shown the door. The player sales money that wasn't spent on anticipated Jan recruits should cover his contract. I think most of us will be surprised if Swans were to win at Ashton Gate, mainly due to Darling's absence. But, @ home v. Shef Wed is one that Swans really need to win, and should be expected to win. |

I think it's safe to say that Williams has lost his squad's respect. If Coleman doesn't do it now, then Swans' chances are good in going down to League One. If he does, then who should/could be hired to lead the team? |

If there were ever a time an CEO & owner needed to make amends to his team's fans and its players, & fellow investors, now is that time Mr. Coleman! If Swans are to stand a chance in staying up, if you want your investment to stay solvent, then rid yourself and the team and its fans of the foolish manager you employ. If you don't see that Williams has lost his squad's respect and only is instilling negativity with his awkward comments, then the Swans' odds are heavily favored toward being relegated. If Rob Edwards is available, then would he be one to consider for the job? |

What were the 3 clubs and the # of points each had at this stage for each of the last 3 years? What were the 3 clubs to go down and the amount of points at the end of the last 3 seasons? I think getting 12-16 points over the last 16 games allows Swans to stay up. I better stick with 16; LW may see my 12 and just quit at that! |

Plymouth have signed TWO centerbacks, 6'4" Ukranian Maksym Talovierov, and Bosnian Nikola Katic. Talovierov is their new record-signing recruit & Katic is being loaned to Plymouth. Don't know anything about either of them other than what's been reported by BBC & Plymouth Live. |

Former 19-yr old Millwall player, Romain Esse, was a late substitute (83') for Crystal Palace. He scored his first Premier League goal in the 85'. My point with Wilson and other U-21, U-18 players is that many of them should be given opportunities to see if they can contribute at the 1st team level. And, I'm not talking about cameo substitutions at the end of the game or when the game is out of hand but significant playing minutes with game's outcome still undetermined. |

I suspect Andy & Co. are doing to Coventry what Wycombe has so far done with Swans. Both players have supposedly indicated that they're willing to move on. If the funds from player sales, Grimes & Abdulai, and sell-on fees for Joseph & Whittaker, allow Swans to sign 2,3, or 4 new recruits, then let's get on with the rat-killing now and not this summer. We need a directional/leadership change in both on the field and with the manager. If Grimes has to be sold to make this happen, then so be it. |

Millwall doesn't have a category A. Yet, they sold Crystal Palace a 19-yr old attacker/winger, Romain Esse, that has 60+ games under his belt, scoring a total of 6 goals and 2 assists over 1 and half seasons. Sold for £14.2M! Swansea's mentality is to keep their best & brightest youngsters hidden, and not allow them significant 1st team opportunities. Yes, a £150K for him this summer sounds about right because managers largely refuse to play their younger stars to find out how they handle 1st team playing opportunities. I shake my head in disgust. |

Maybe Sheehan again as caretaker til Andy et. al. finds the right one? Williams has lost the locker room, most fans, and the trust of Coleman & company. IMO, Williams needs to be relieved now, not later. For the sake of the club and players especially. |

Millwall can "afford" to buy Crama due to their sale of 19-yr old Romain Esse to Crystal Palace for a rumoured fee of about £14.5m. Esse's goal contribution with Millwall was 8 goals in 66 senior appearances. Hmm, 19 yrs old, and played 66 1st-team games. Compare that with Swans development program. Both LW & RM, as well as other former Swans managers refuse(d) to give young Swans the opportunities, or at best, very limited 1st team opportunities. With today's performance, do you think that's going to change? Don't count on it. How many of Swans 17-21 yr old players show great promise in U-21 & U-18 teams, only to see atrocious results like there have been in the past few weeks with hardly any call ups? I would like to see more of Swans younger players given 1st team opportunities. You just never know who may rise up so a £14.5m sale is in the offing. |

If it were my team, and as owner/CEO, I would personally poll the players and get their opinions/thoughts on LW as a manager, his team preparation & setup, strategy & tactics, playing style, etc. C'mon Andy! You & Swans can do better than that! Way much better! |
