Not much on here about te Olympics, but pretty good morning so far today in the rowing, diving and both mens and womens triathlon! How the fk does anyone do triathlon, but fair play to them all

Could we not have actually bought a player that was fit(ish) when he signed for us? I know strikers are at a premium, but ffs, this is becoming embarrassing

The Peterborough chairman (Irish guy, can't remember name) was doing the mid morning show on T/Sport this morning and was asked about the issues with the Prem of recent times being tht of those that come up are likely to go back down again and of us, Ipswich and Leicester, who would do the best
Straight away said Ipswich as they are going about the transfer market the right way. Leicester could be in trouble (the financial issues still milling around). And we MAY do ok if we can find someone who scores goals, but we'll be pretty good on the eye, and Martin seems to know what he's doing! |

I really think I should do some homework prior to posting "FACTS" rather than relying on memory especially as that early 80's period was probably the most enjoyable period being a Saints fan! (except maybe the recent top 6-8 period)

I am with you regarding watching the dressage, boring as fk, but the horses are well presented and look in good nick so one assumes they are looked after (generally) but as proven in this current case, you don't know what goes on behind the scenes, though one does wonder how/why a 4 year old video should come out right now - timing or what, or just vindictive for some reason!
And regarding Breakdancing, well see below!

I'd like to think that whipping was a one off, but they say horse racing is the sport of kings and look what those jockeys do to get them over the line
But dressage as a sport generally seems to be more about the controlling of the animal which seems to depend on relationship between rider and horse so the top of the tree is those that work the best together? And sport is about being better than your competitors. I'm no fan of the sport but do admire what they can do
However, breakdancing as a sport?? Ffs |

How on earth was he released after serving just 25% of his sentence! I thought this country was bad enough with serving only 50% - soon to be 40% ffs - but as said below how on earth can someone be rehabilitated after just a year with this conviction
But no doubt if it means they are in with a better chance of winning a medal they'll take him and fk any moral stance |
