Use the paper slip from the V5 to transfer and then tax it tomorrow. That way DVLA doesn't know you've bought the car yet so it's still taxed. |

Wrong way to look at it. If you have a whole load of hoarded shit it's almost certain you won't be able to find something easily so you'll end up buying another one. But more than that, if you have a hundred items you think you might need one day, you'll actually only ever need a handful of them. So get rid of all of them and then buy whatever you need when you need it. Obviously this doesn't apply to rare or high value stuff, but we all know that stuff isn't the problem.
I'm in the middle of a multi-year project clearing out all my unwanted shit and it feels great every time something leaves the house. Even better, my vast record and CD collection often yields items of value so I'm getting paid for someone giving me more space in my house. |

We've won one (league) game against a side who have one point from four games. Beale, who everyone to a man or woman now thinks is a complete arse, had us top after 16 games. |

This point has indeed been the most hilarious throughout. Obviously Clive is correct about the water table, but simple physics prevent the idea from even getting that far - go down and you either have an illegally small pitch or a very large open-roofed squash court. |

Crazy mo fo.
I went to the top of one of the towers once. They had it set up so that once you got on the escalator to the platform there's no turning back, you had to go around the circuit to come back down, the cruel bastards. Even though you're far enough from the edge that it would take an olympic standard long jump to get over it and into the safety netting, I was terrified.
I don't like heights. |

And a further note on Luton, who have scored only one goal through their own efforts, are now bottom and are guaranteed to be in the bottom two at the end of the day.

Pubs were closing long before the smoking ban. Much cheaper booze in supermarkets has more to do with it, along with property values and the business practices of the pub companies. |
