The Turkish side want Tal Paul and are so desperate to get him they have upped their offer to 6 million Euros plus 25% of any future transfer fee. Given his scoring record in Turkey last season and in Belgium before he joined us, surely we can get more than that from a club in Western Europe |

Football rules when we were kids. 1. - The fatty was always the goalkeeper 2. - The game ended when everyone was tired 3. - Even if the score was 20-0 whoever scored last won. 4. - No referee. 5. - Give a foul only if it was very clear or someone started to cry. 6. - There was no such thing as offside 7. - If the owner of the ball got angry, the match was over. 8. - The two best players couldn't be on the same team and they knew that too. 9. - If you were chosen last, it was a big humiliation, it meant nobody wanted you. 10. - you even played 2-3 hours in a row. 11. - The match was stopped when an elderly man passed by 12. - Neighbourhood players were enemies forever. 13. - Those who had no idea about football remained reserves or at maximum defenders. 14. - When the big ones were playing, you had to leave the field without protesting. 15. -There was always a neighbour who wouldn’t let you play and threatened you to take the ball and put it inside. 16. - If there was a bet, the game was very serious as if it were a final. 17. - The goals were two rocks or two jackets, but there was always a team with the smaller goal. 18. - When the goalkeeper was pushed, the goal was invalid. 19. - The rules were established before the match even started. 20. - If it was a penalty, remove the fat one and the best one goalkeeper would appear. |

I have just returned from Poland and Krackow, it was a great experience. 1. Krakow is a great little city with a lot of history, however despite having two football teams who hate each other, there is little evidence of them in the town centre, no club shops no signs of any of the pair of them, not even anyone walking around in a replica shirt or t shirt. Cracovia seem the logical one to like as they play in Red & White stripes. 2. It is still quite cheap, beer from about £2 a pint up to £5 depending on the type of establishment, I went from Sunday to Friday so I missed the stag night invasion, but the vibe on Friday afternoon had definitely changed . 3. The story of WW2 is horrifying, obviously the Jews were treated horribly, but so where the Poles who were not considered a nation and not allowed schooling after primary school level. 4. Auschwitz is a must trip for anyone and it is hard to describe, I have to say though it was not as harrowing as I thought it might be, they did not get too gory about it, they were pragmatic. 5. Easy and cheap to get to, I would recommend it to anyone, all I would say is that unless you are genuinely going on the lash with a bunch of blokes, I would not go at a weekend. |

Has gone home for the birth of his first child, is this acceptable or not ? Plenty of people have to miss the birth of a child due to working away, if you are in the Armed forces serving abroad you dont get a flight home for a birth. Some will say he has his priorities right, but Im not sure, he is highly paid and it comes with the job to work away, whatever your occupation |

Say what you will but their two main teams Southampton & Goztepe both got promoted to the top division, I wonder whether they will be over here to play us after our trip last year |

I know that with the play off final etc the league we would be in and therefore preparations for it were in doubt until the last week of May, but here we are 4 weeks on and there has been no word of what we are doing and who we will play in pre season, surely we should have some plans in place by now |
