It's mostly just wind up merchants, has beens and shock jocks, although, Danny Kelly is always worth a listen, good interviewer, has an excellent knowledge of sport and music and the "my sporting life" series saved my sanity on many a long Sunday night drive back to work via the M25 for a few years |

750k Would just be a drop in the ocean, if we net him for less than a million we would have done them over hook line and sinker. Should buoy the squad up no end |

I do despair at the "Ooh, do you like the bright lights Bob? Not what your used to is it?" questions. I'm much more interested in how he will approach tactics, training and players, than watch him have to spend 10 minutes explaining that he's managed for quite a while and has been in a stadium with more than ten blokes sitting on the back of their pick up trucks watching before. If they are going to ask him on personal opinions, I do like to know if he's managed to get out and about in the local area and has he met many fans? From the American articles I've read, their journos have been making ours look like utter morons over the last fortnight |

Personally, I'm glad that Taylor was annoyed at being snubbed; however, he should have not made his feelings so obvious in the dugout where he was exposed to cameras. FG is entitled to make whatever tactical action decision he deems necessary to win a game (The manager is far more likely to get sacked than a player). I also think that FG was right to issue the on air apology, despite being in the right, he diffused the situation and offered a simple explanation for his actions. No one can deny that FG is a class act. |

The presence of Barrow and Amat in our squad, is a reason to be optimistic about the season ahead, they are both exellent players and have deputised for Ayew and Ash without the team looking any weaker. The only worry is who will take on the mantle of leadership following Ash's departure, I'm sure there are players who can step up to the plate like he did for GM. We also have the cash to strengthen, as we did after the departure of Joe and Rodgers. McBurnie and Fulton have been performing well too. We have had the best out of Ash and Ayew was always a shop window signing. Onwards and upwards I say. |

I wonder who Trump supported, I'm thinking Russia as he is a big admirer of Vladimir, and would give their manager a run for his money in the "Looking like a tw4t in front of a large audience" competition. |
| Forum Reply | Will Welsh fans be attacked by Russian thugs in Toulouse? at 10:50 14 Jun 2016
The best thing Wales fans can do is stay out of Lille town centre, Turn up early at the stadium in Lens, stay in groups, and keep the friendly attitude that was displayed in Bordeux, get the local police onside by cooperating with them and keeping it friendly, they will be the only effective opposition against people who have come prepared and tooled up. No need to get involved in any goading or provocative stand offs, the local rozzers will just think your asking for it and wont be as sympathetic if your escalating a situation they are stuck in the middle of. Have fun, stay safe, stick together and don’t go looking for trouble. Post game go to any town but Lille, Lens is small, and will probably shut up shop, but there might be somewhere open to those with tickets. The Russians have organised themselves for a scrap, they will go for easy targets with a lot of people for maximum effect, any goading and chanting at them will make them look like heroes in the propaganda that passes for news in Russia, it’s not worth taking them on as our fans have gone to watch the Football with their Mrs and kids, and have not been preparing to kick off for months like these knobs obviously have. There will be nice places in the suburbs, or nearby towns. If you’ve not got tickets, don’t go to Lille, find another French town or have a night out in Paris. Let the English and Russians get each other banned if they like, but its not worth trying to take these on, no matter how many times you’ve been in fights, this is a different level, no matter how hard you are, they have a pack mentality and have been preparing for some time, so its not a fair fight and theres no shame in not getting involved in one. The same will apply in Toulouse. Get the old bill onside, dont give them an excuse. [Post edited 14 Jun 2016 11:19]

Look, we can’t get away from the fact that their shopping centre is quite new. Which, trumps everything from coastlines, to areas of outstanding natural beauty, to our hugely superior Football Club, all of which’s recent success has been achieved without financial doping and by members of the local community. I just cant see past the fact that they have a bigger TK Maxx, which is why I’m so obsessed with them. |

Give the man a pre-season and a bit of transfer kitty. He's earned his chance despite the Newcastle and Leicester games. We're in the same league position as we were under Rodgers after a handicap of being in the drop zone half way through the season. He wants to be here and is professional, experienced, and tactically aware enough to beat top teams, language is also less of a barrier and I can't see him f**king us over for a job in the North West of England for his ego to be massaged. |

Personally, I'd be uncomfortable with employing coaches who recently chinned us off, due to our league position, this shows a lack off self belief. Also, we should reward Guidolin for his bottle in putting his reputation on the line (it was very good in Italy ) and having a cracking at keeping us up. He and Curts seem to have a mutual respect for each other after both of their efforts since Monk's departure, Curts' approval is good enough for me. |

Palace look like they have a tough run in, their form is terrible and Pardew, historically, tends to not fair well in the second half of a season. I think they may be outsiders for the drop. I think ourselves and Bournemouth can see ourselves out of trouble despite sailing close to the wind, we have the players in key positions to get some unexpected results. Newcastle will pull off the occasional surprise, but will get nothing from Sunderland as usual, Villa are past the point of no return, Norwich show signs of promise but cant buy a win. I feel nervously optimistic |

I can see where the OP is coming from, but, I think a few good chances were carved out on Saturday, we are making chances, but our lack of goals can probably be put down to a lack of clinical finishing more than the system. However, Barrow coming on to run at a full back does have an uplifting effect, and will pay off sooner or later if he continues to back himself. If we can get Jeff back up to form and have the last 15 minutes of a game we are drawing with the pair of them giving tired full backs a good workout, perhaps even we could have the best of both worlds. I have to agree that organising our defence from set pieces should be the main priority, but we must accept that despite their form, Palace and Brom have got some big old lumps who specialise in set pieces. The lost points are frustrating, but keeping the unbeaten run going will do me for now |

Both posts, came off one of ours and rondon slotted it. Ah well, plenty of positives, plus if brolly man couldn't get England's golden generation playing, I don't fancy his chances of turning Jonjo into a player either, fat Sam can't polish a turd, villa are the walking dead and notrich are leakier than my dad's rubber jonny |
