I am heartbroken. Like franniesTache I know his old man well. Elijah was our friend, a sound lad who had a promising career ahead of him. He loved football and Southampton FC. Done many away trips with him including Newcastle and his three hour train quiz!

It was the same lot there last night - to be fair they should have all been kicked out for singing Debbie the steward, she's one of our own.
As Mr Tache says we heard that the club were going to clamp down on Block 1&2 and moved our seats.
The simple fact is there were two or three fights in there last season and the old bill and club want that stopped. One of our lot spoke to a steward last night and he confirmed that directive has come from higher up in the club.
There will be stewards in the aisle seats at the end of block 2. Anyone who had season tickets in those seats has been told to move - including being offered one seat in so they are sitting next to a steward
If any of the young SI clad 'lads' had some nouse they would now move somewhere else and start again.
One last thing - if only we had some form a supporters panel - a voice so to speak - who could campaign and push the club to confirm about safe standing
Spot on. My first check is if I can afford to renew if so then it’s always yes. I had a number of years where for financial and mental health reasons I could not go, so I am making the most of being able to at the moment and despite all the things that are wrong with football I still love going.
They also paid Saints record breaking amounts of cash which we then wasted. The nipper is right the singing of f#*k the scousers, sign on, the national anthem whilst we were losing was embarrassing. Myself and others politely pointed this out and we had goons in replica shirts having a go at us for saying support your own team 😂
As always the football was s#%t, Ralph is untouchable blah blah blah Shame as take the football and our away support out of it and it was a cracking day out - free first class travel up and back, decent pubs and locals in Leicester and an epic five hour quiz
Losing 4-0 was not the worse thing about Saturday (was expected after they beat Arsenal last week) but our away support singing "we won the ball." Embarrassing shite - just a bit of self respect and reflection would improve our support overnight.

I am still not over the trip to Norwich being ruined when we changed trains at Cambridge on the way up and some din chanted Red Army, cringeworthy behaviour.
