I'd agree if we had someone to replace him, but we haven't:
Morgan - too raw
Madsen - too scared
Andersen - too slow
Saito - too peripheral
Dembele - too early |

Morgan should have been rested last night. It is an indictment on Madsen that he cannot step in and allow Morgan to rest. He is a kid (Morgan). He should be learning his trade and maturing in the Devt Squad, not shouldering the responsibility of carrying our midfield in away games against top 6 Championship teams. Need Andersen and Madsen to step up and actually do what they are being paid big bucks to do. |

But why are we STILL allowing this to happen ? The due diligence appears to be worse than when Sir Les was bringing players in. We are still getting mugged off by players and agents. It's farcical. |

I think the 64 million dollar question is who will play up front. Hopefully Frey has recovered. If not, then I would go for Alfie Lloyd for his nuisance factor.
The subs are unbalanced. We don't need 3 defenders and 3 more attacking midfielders on the bench (I.e. Dembele, Madsen and Andersen). Keep Bennie on the bench because he is a striker, then select 2 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders, 2 attacking midfielders and 1 other striker.

Can't understand why the refs / law-makers are so weak about it. They have all the power. The governing association is a complete monopoly. They only have themselves to blame for this brand of cheating, which is what it is. |

He did exactly the opposite of bottling the header. He flew himself in there. Bottling it is the one thing you can't accuse Saito of. |

That is so true. When you think that Madsen is also a number 10 (allegedly). Just complicates things having to keep them all involved. Marti etc. are going to have a busy summer realigning the squad. |

It's more about the strategy and mindset. If you don't have a cf in amongst the centre backs from the outset it changes everything the 4 attacking midfielders do. We just needed anyone up there from the outset as a target, someone to hit with the ball. [Post edited 8 Mar 17:02]

I think playing with 4 technicians up front has got to wait until the summer. You can't just switch to it three quarters of the way through the season against a team in the play-offs. We should have started and played the whole game with a genuine no. 9. |

The current state of affairs, with linesmen running up and down in front of thousands of supporters potentially hurling abuse at them from close range, needs to be looked at. It's no good all round, for the officials or spectators. Not sure what the answer is but the FA needs to fix it. |

I agree. He's unique. A CDM with the ability to spring into action. He fits the role excellently. I actually thought Morgan did OK yesterday. He too, showed he has great feet. Get it right with those two and we shouldn't miss Field too much. |

Frey is the only option to start really, while Kolli is out. I thought he did quite well first half on his own up there. He won quite a few headers and brought others into the game well. I thought we did well until he tired. |
