The irony in people willing to generalise the entire police force as racist but criticise anyone asking the important questions about the black community.
I imagine Mount Rushmore brings in an incredible amount of revenue to the local area. Be absolutely ludicrous to demolish it. Surely there’s a more sensible approach.
I don’t think anyone wants immigration to completely stop, Drizzy. The population is rising at quite a fast rate though. How much longer can that really last. Anyway, I’m gonna enjoy my last weekend on the piss before I finally go back to work next week so I can’t be bothered to debate all day again. Have a good weekend.
Of course I’d pick A. But in the 25 years up to 2016 the population over the age 65 rose by 2.7 million. Bear in mind the there hasn’t been a stagnant birth rate during that time and the fact retirement age has gone up on that time, you’re argument that those numbers on immigration are a necessity to do the jobs look after the old are a bit of an exaggeration.
A forum Is supposed to be a place where you can have a debate. Planetswans has 6 or 7 posters who you either agree with wholeheartedly or you’re a thick, racist, bigot, homophobic moron. We all know who they are
The population of the UK rose by a total of 6.6 million between 2001 and 2016. The latest research shows that just over 80% of this increase was due to immigration.
Birth rate is all that matters when it comes to population though apparently.
They haven’t legalised drugs in Portugal though. They’ve decriminalised possession of small amounts but even then it’s still punishable. I wouldn’t really compare Portugal with the U.K. either. The U.K. population is growing at an alarming rate and Portugal’s is decreasing.
What about huge rise in addicts that would come from it? Because there would. Addicts bring crime and strain on the NHS. If you think legalising it will stop drug dealing then you’re mad. You’ll get people cutting the legal stuff and selling it even cheaper. You won’t see the local drug store dropping 3 grams to the pub on a Saturday or Houseparty Sunday morning.
Sorry Catullus, this wasn’t meant to be aimed at you.
