Sorry I lost track of setting this up as my newborn son arrived 4 weeks early so that has been keeping me busy. If there is still interest in doing this though let me know. Doing a league with the Welsh club sides seemed popular before?
Cant help but wonder though that as Gylfi took all the penalties, all the free kicks and all the corners for us that we shouldnt be that surprised he racked a fair few assists and goals. Any player who has a monopoly on set pieces like that should be pulling decent figures.
I am not sure, i know there is the option of setting up a gold membership which does allow you additional functions. I will post all the info on here later on today.
Great, what i will do then is just go ahead and set it up. Even if there are not many players to begin with there is nothing stopping people joining later on.
I was thinking of having 3 or 4 divisions so we can have promotion and relegation. Any preference on the teams let me know.
We would still need a right back in my opinion. Kyle Naughton even though a decent player is not consistent enough week in week out at PL level. We need a bit more competition there.
In all the other positions we are not looking too bad once Dyer and Llorente come back in.
One of the better football manager gaming apps. Was thinking of starting a game world for Swans fans if there is enough interest. It is free to download and play.
You take control of the club of your choice (we cant all be Swansea) buy and sell players as you see fit and player ratings and values change based on their real life performances.
If you check it out in the Google Play store and let me know if you are interested. I will then set up the league.
The problem we have with Baston is that there must be a decent striker in there somewhere. He was banging them in last season for a mediocre Spanish team which convinced us to fork out 15 million for him.
For whatever reason he just hasn't settled with us yet but given that Llorente is producing some form now we can keep trying Baston as number 2 and see what happens. If at the end of the season there is still no improvement that would be the time to offload I think.
With that in mind I wouldn't look to bring in Ulloa as well at this stage as I think that money would be better off invested in a centre back.
If fitness is the problem you would assume he would get a run out for the under 23s to build him up for the first team.
Our 2 form strikers at the moment however are Llorente and McBurnie so i fully support Bobs decision to put these 2 in the match day squad. Baston will need to wait for his opportunity.
It would be crazy for us to put our reserves out when the cup competitions represent our only opportunity for success this season. Having said that i would give Mawson a start for the sole reason of seeing what the lad is capable of.
