It makes disturbing watching. Anyone who supports this World Cup in Qatar needs to watch it and think again. |

Why do these women have to do this? Wy do they have to take the abuse? Why can't the council or the Senedd put up speed cameras alomg this road? Well done to the ladies for trying to protect people, there's too many drivers who think they can do as they please with no come backs. |

The minimum wage. As it stands an 18 year old can be paid £6.83 per hour, what the flying furkeler is that about! At 18 people may have to pay their own way, they may have lost both parents or even be a carer for a sick parent and they're expected to survive on pocket money. Even at 23 the minimum wage is too low. The government says it can't afford this and that but when it comes to the other, throwing money at fake PPE companies, massive expense accounts...all those little benefits of being in politics that see them risne the public purse for millions every year but pay the living wage to every adult, can't be done mate. No doubt ll those businesses who benefit from this shocking wage deal will say they cant afford the pay rise but my opinion is as soon as you hit 18 you should get one minimum wage rate that applies to all aduts, it should be about £12.00 per hour too. |
| Forum Thread | The Welsh Indy march at 23:13 1 Oct 2022
I am qute surprised none of the indy supporters/Union haters on here have posted about this today? is it because the turnout of around 10,000 is disappointing and yet more proof that Wales isn't really interested? SCFC took 3 times as many all the way to London for a football match, Indy being a much more important topic, you'd have thought anyone genuinely, 100% for it would turn up in Cardiff. |

He was just on breakfast tv, not your usual pop star is he. Doesn't look the part and comes across as the typical bloke down the pub. He turned Naga bright red, at the end of the interview she asked him if he fancied a Rum and he replied "What sorry, I thought you said a RIM" Made me laugh anyway |

England have fallem through a trap door then, surely they were too good to go down! Will Southgate survive this? Will this have them more fired up for the WC...and the World cup. |
| Forum Thread | Religious freedom at 09:35 23 Sep 2022
Now for my money, you can't give people religious freedom and then moan when they exercise their right. Personally I disagree with this but it's what this particular version of Christianity preaches so they have to be allowed to practise it too, don't they? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-63003282 |
| Forum Thread | Welsh Indy and the EU at 20:05 11 Sep 2022
Now these arguments have been done to death on here but it seems that a journalist, Will Hayward, has been looking into it and his findings are, https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/politics/you-supporting-welsh-independence-be He thinks if we went indy it could take 25 years to get back into the EU. Hmmmm, that on top of him thinking that even if we voted for indy soon (in 5 years say) it could take 5 years to extricate ourselves from the UK. Not happening in my lifetime then. |
| Forum Thread | UNITED Kingdom at 16:18 11 Sep 2022
People can talk about Scottish indy but judging by the crowds forming and growing up in Scotland, a lot of people, a great lot of people are grieving the Queen's death and all across the UK we are seeing people united by this. Happy times don't bring people together but tragedies do and it looks like the majority see her passing as a tragedy, maybe King Charles can take advantage of this and strengthen the unity going forward. Will the Queen pasing actually make the UK a more unified place? |
| Forum Thread | The Commonwealth at 11:44 10 Sep 2022
Well Charles the Third is here, the official proclamation is made but what does this mean for the Commonwealth. The Queen was genuinely loved by most of the Commowealth, she was the glue that held it together, mostly. Will the King have the same hold? |
| Forum Thread | A step in the right direction at 10:19 8 Sep 2022
Right, I votd to leave the EU and it has really irrtated that some EU members, notably France, have been seemingly trying to punish the UK for brexit but maybe common sense has taken over. The Russian invasion has brought countries together like they haven't been since WW2. OK, there are a few exceptions like Maybe the Czech Republic but over all nearly everybody wants to help Ukraine. The EU is putting together an "energy club" https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-62822368 The UK is apparently invited and I say go for it, work with the EU on this. Maybe it will improve the EU/Uk relationship and we can work together on other stuff for the greater good. By other stuff I only mean trade, the political empire building still turns me off. |

Everybody is having a hard time right now, unless you're qute rich anyway! Pubs are talking of mass closures, small businesses are struggling and so obviously charities are taking less in donations and now shelters are pleading with people to become foster carers because the price rises mean that, not only have their costs risen but that more people are looking to give up their pets too. Personally, our 13 year old Lab/Spaniel cross is very safe here, I'd sell the car first and cycle to work! Many people though are making that choice on top of the covid pets who have been dumped. I've been adamant that we won't have another dog, once our best friend goes I want some time without because losing them never gets any easier. I can deal with people dying but every dog have lost has crucified me, I didn't cry when my mum died but when our Albie goes.... I'm thinking about it though. |
| Forum Thread | The Espionage act! at 21:13 12 Aug 2022
This is hysterical and no doubt Trump supporters will be along to say it absolutely is but in a different context, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-us-canada-62527797 I have abslolutly no doubt that someone will be along to claim that no sane or sensible person will believe there's anything in this besides it being a witch hunt! And we think UK politics is in a mess. Bojo just held a few parties and lied, he hasn't been investigated for espionage though there is still time. |
| Forum Thread | 5th September at 22:15 10 Aug 2022
That's how long we have to wait til the next PM takes over from Bojo. In the meantime Bojo defers everything untl his replacement steps in. it's the worst of both worlds as Bojo is inactive while UK PLC is heading for a major crisis. Seems to me Bojo is sulking and is letting the whole country suffer because we clearly don't love him. How can Parliament be allowed to take its recess right now? The country is heading towards a cost of living disaster and we are rudderless. Right nw doesnt the national need trump constituency need? |
