Why do they have stand on really windy bridges near the sea / river just to show how windy it is? They tell everyone to stay inside and don't travel yet they are there getting soaked and blown to fcuk just to say "look it's windy"
I said a few seasons ago WXM are no threat to Swansea or cardiff for that matter and are miles away from our positions how wrong I was but the bubble will burst one day when the Yanks and the Netflix public get bored of them but until then good luck to them.
Not all Swansea fans live in Swansea, its a nice straight forward journey from London a cracking little city especially in the summer and very much a family club. I went the season before last to visit some old haunts I hadn't seen since 1994, they like a drink in Norwich aswell
If any significant investment was to come it will always be east of our capital that's the gateway to and from South Wales, West Wales still have semaphore signal boxes.
He should have stuck to retirement in 2022 his come back since then has taken a shine off his reputation, I can't help think he will be a bigger caricature of himself now more than ever.
I have a little bit of fire fighting experience from a previous life LA is built on and around canyons, valleys whatever you want to call them where fire can jump from a top of valley to another top valley which will then spread down the valleys very much like a volcano affect it literally spreads like the wind which it makes it harder to fight it. I can imagine over the next few days in those valleys that is where they will find more bodies that were trapped its a very dry west facing state on the coast and with that wind makes it the perfect storm and sadly another disaster that we (US) will have to learn from.
The only time is gets slightly fun is when a club you've never heard of before gets a home draw against a league team anything else is just meh even the cup final with all those empty red corporate seats
35yrs that's crazy I seem to remember 3 or 4 Mini Angels getting on the pitch not long after that and getting hoofed out
Before the game we were with about 5 coaches held up by poilce in some service station for well over an hour, the police telling the coach driver you have stay here there are too many Swansea fans in Liverpool
We go camping on the Dorset coast hills over looking the Isle Of Wight with very little light pollution after a few beers we turn off all our lights and just watch the sky looking at shooting stars, satellites passing over...Roll on the summer
I remember nearly 30 yrs ago sitting in traffic behind my oldmans hearse on Morriston Cross plenty of shoppers milling about paying no real attention when 2 middle aged Gypsies came bounding out of the police station with pieces of paper stuffed in their hands looking like they had just earlier been nicked laughing and joking, when they seen the hearse they both stopped ridged to the spot bowed their heads crossed their bodies in the sign of the cross stood there for about 5 seconds then we drove off.
