Luis Suarez 17:36 - Apr 21 with 3664 views | ChaffRAFC | I genuinely cannot think of a bigger prick in football history than him. He's a quite brilliant footballer but what the f*** goes through his head?! Biting a player? To watch it back on replay is actually shocking. Vile human being.

Luis Suarez on 04:04 - Apr 22 by AtThePeake | It's up there with the Cantona kick, Liverpool have to get rid? United didn't get rid of Cantona, and he went on to have two great seasons with them after that incident, and has since been voted a fair few times as the greatest Manchester United player ever... |
For the sheer shock value I would put it up there with that. Cantona was kept yes, but that incident with the fan, as shocking as it was, was his only really jaw dropping incident. With Suarez on the other hand, it is one thing after another, and for a club with such a proud history of fantastic strikers, surely Liverpool can find someone equally talented, but minus the baggage this guy brings every week.

If that was the case, I'm sure they (Liverpool FC) would have already done it. No defence to what Suarez did, but I doubt if they will be showing him the door any more than Cantona was shown the door. Let's not forget that Cantona was convicted and sentenced in Court for what he did, which makes it a far worse situation for a club to deal with in terms of the legal aspects and subsequent furore. Suarez will undoubtedly get a ban, but he will also be a fantastic player after all the fuss has died down just like Cantona was. Flawed genius. There would be no shortage of takers if Liverpool made him 'available for transfer'. Why sell your greatest asset to one of your rivals ?

Can't see them getting rid - they bought him and he'd just bitten someone? What's changed?

Luis Suarez on 08:10 - Apr 22 by modelboydave | I agree, LFC won't get rid of him. Re-reading my point I wasn't trying to defend Suarez, I think what he did was terrible. I just asked myself a simple question Would the Barclays premier league be a better league without him? I don't think it would, you put up with the villain, for the genius, a flawed one at that. |
So regardless of his previous and continued antics and because the leagues better with him let him crack on with it?The blokes the biggest prick ever to grace the English game,im sure its something that's lost in translation again and its perfectly fine where he comes from, like shouting racist comments at another player!! Can't be doing with the tool, none stop whining and always the victim, the bloke acts like a caveman both verbally and behavior wise.

Surely what Suarez did could be grounds for assault? I dont recall a similar incident happening since I've started watching football, and a lengthy ban needs to be put on him, but I doubt he will change.

Luis Suarez on 12:31 - Apr 22 with 966 views | Hopwoodblue | I think he will go in the summer,as a Liverpool fan I am ashamed and cannot see a way forward. The club will not make out as though they want to sell him for the simple reason it will alert other clubs they would probably accept smaller offers. If you are going to win anything you want to do it the right way and not with the baggage he brings to the club.Even after being found guilty of being a racist, instead of moving on he then goes and makes it even worse by refusing to shake Evra's hand and once again embarrassing Liverpool FC in front of their biggest rivals. Its a sad day for Liverpool football club and most of all football I'm afraid.

You're right, but unless Ivanovic reports it to the police and makes a statement alleging assault, it cannot proceed. He is the victim - no-one else can make a complaint on his behalf. It ain't gonna happen. Anyway, it has been reported that Suarez has contacted him personally, offered an apology and the apology was accepted. As far as the matter goes between the two of them, it is finished.
