For the sheer shock value I would put it up there with that.
Cantona was kept yes, but that incident with the fan, as shocking as it was, was his only really jaw dropping incident. With Suarez on the other hand, it is one thing after another, and for a club with such a proud history of fantastic strikers, surely Liverpool can find someone equally talented, but minus the baggage this guy brings every week. |  |

Surely what Suarez did could be grounds for assault? I dont recall a similar incident happening since I've started watching football, and a lengthy ban needs to be put on him, but I doubt he will change. | |

I think he will go in the summer,as a Liverpool fan I am ashamed and cannot see a way forward.The club will not make out as though they want to sell him for the simple reason it will alert other clubs they would probably accept smaller offers. If you are going to win anything you want to do it the right way and not with the baggage he brings to the club.Even after being found guilty of being a racist,instead of moving on he then goes and makes it even worse by refusing to shake Evra's hand and once again embarrassing Liverpool FC in front of their biggest rivals.

You're right, but unless Ivanovic reports it to the police and makes a statement alleging assault, it cannot proceed. He is the victim - no-one else can make a complaint on his behalf. It ain't gonna happen.
