it does beg the question where does this leave Chris Beech?
Despite what's been said publicly, alternatives have been sought and rejected us. It does him no favours both in terms of confidence in his own position and in the mindset of his playing staff who will look upon him knowing that he's there because nobody else could be attracted to the job. Insisting on a manager's assistant would be like insisting on a particular player being in the team. It's interference from the boardroom which is completely unfamiliar with our board. They didn't dictate to Hill when he wanted someone unexperienced alongside him (and I remember the kick off on here about that), so I can't see them insisting that on someone who has been in the game as long as Coleman has. | | | |

as has been said, RP and Accrington have said we havnt contacted them, yet now suddenly he's turned down terms.
If it is true however i d imagine it will be down to length of contract, after being at Accy for so long he would want some security, but too big of a risk on our end. |  |
