over many years games v the owls are hit and miss, they do not do bad at ours. usually goals in the games and few 0-0s , both on the same pts, sold out, expectant fans from both sides. 1-1 . but as ever the ref is important, we rarely get a homer ref! |  | | |

This game last season I had the terrible misfortune to sit a row beyond their ‘disabled’ section in the lower school end.
Not all of them of course but some of them and their ‘carers’ were utterly odious individuals. Wanted to row with the R’s fans they were sitting in front of gobbing off and being abusive to those around them ..kids an all.
When the players came over to applaud the fans in the top tier after their victory about 80% of them suddenly found the ability to stand and walk to give the players a standing ovation and give each other hugs etc .
I know going after the ‘infirm’ puts me on very icy ground 🤣🤣 but if you happen to be in that part of the ground with kids today just watch out . They are very loud and abusive and there is no one to keep them in check . The netting that is put in the first 3 or 4 rows of the school end lower , the carers just moved and threw on the floor in that section so all they could have a seat . I think Cook or Morrison will get a start, third game in a week, fox may sit as he’s our sub for Paal if needed. I expect Colback to start too, not sure for who, probably whoever is most in need of a rest. Frey may get the nod with Kolli as super sub. Not sure who will be on the wings, we need to be at our best against Rohl so Chair and Smith to start, subs at 60 depending on tactics needed at the time [Post edited 25 Jan 13:27]

Seems like the squad is just a JCS away from being optimal (for what we have on the books, anyway). Today’s lineup seems right. We have true reinforcements (Saito, Kolli, Lloyd) off the bench, and I’m glad Cook and Morrison have made strides to be involved in some capacity. Pre-Leicester, Marti spoke about how he'd picked up on the "typical Rangers" mindset of the fanbase (he was talking specifically about how loads of us expected to lose to Luton cos they were on a woeful run). He said one of his aims was to change this outlook.
