Two goals
Kissing the badge celebration...

Interesting to see what happens next.

I didn't manage to see the game but understand he was sensational.

Anyone with any sense could see the kid is a good player, I knew it right from the first time I saw him , that's why I've always backed him , the kid has it.

Have to agree having watched him with the Development squad on TV especially away to Tottenham and also in person away to Luton on one hell of a freezing night. As someone has said, a precocious talent whom we need to cherish as in our position such players are few and far between. Unfortunately, there was some idiot who liked the sound of his own voice in G block in the SAR thinking he was a comedian calling him Sideshow and shouting at him early on for not getting in the box when the ball was whacked with the wind like a rocket. Jeez, we do have some knobs following our team and he was very quiet after his first goal.

fantastic movement, great touch, made a real nuisance of himself - thought that his slightly unorthodox approach gave naaarwich so many problems... also his technique of taking the second goal early before the keeper could settle was superb - hard and low in those conditions.... almost by default, it looks as if it's his time to shine...

He has had a good game today. He will also have blips but great potential there. Never sure what his best position is. What I like though, he has good football intelligence, we played some nice stuff off him with his link up play. He is also confident and aggressive. Aggressive in his closing down but also his movement. Make the defenders think and occupies them which creates space for others

I must admit for the 3rd goal I genuinely couldn't get my head round one of our attackers not only robbing the ball through skill and guile, but outpacing, and scoring, all in one move.

We do not, technically, I'm fairly sure I remember, ever own or are able to afford, those types, of what are they called, players.

Worth cautioning it was against Norwich, who I thought other than Duffy were lambs to the slaughter for a strong, aggressive young player with a point to prove at this level. But he was quality.

Nice to have a forward who actually caused the centre halves to think they were in a game. Sensational performance. Get that contract sorted !

This has just gone up on the official site, and I have to say, I think he comes across very well. Quite balanced, quite humble but not shy - very aware that there's more work to do if he wants to get to the level of playing regulaly and that his all-round game is important.

His physicality and strength is very impressive. Based on today he could be an absolute nightmare for defenders in a way that Armstrong never was. This kid has got the skill and football brain to match, that is quite evident. Hopefully he gets his shot at the striker role in the absence of Caser and Frey.

Never knowingly right.

Best work rate, desire and impact I’ve seen by a forward at Rangers for a long time. Well done Kolli.

Of course, I loved his two goals & we definitely needed them, but what really impressed me today was his movement off the ball & his pressing.

It helped that Saito, Smyth & Madsen were helping him with the press & please may this continue.

I had a few conversations with Rayan last season and after he was included in the 1st squad, I asked him what he hoping for going forward. He replied that he was looking for game time to show what he could do.
I spoke with him at the start of the season and he confirmed that he was looking to hold down a starting place. I spoke with him again when he was dropped from the squad and the badmouthing about him started and he couldn't really talk about it but it was a complicated situation. There was talk about him refusing to go out on loan but he wanted to stay and win a place in the team. It wasn't anything to do with refusing to sign a new contract.
He is a pleasant and amiable person who has always been willing to stop and talk to fans and deserves better. The fact he wanted to stay and fight for a starting place says volumes about his character and commitment to QPR.

The grass is always greener.

Who the heck was trying to put him out on loan and especially with our lack of forward threat.

Whoever that was, they are a total arse !!

Played sensationally, what a difference it made to have someone who shows some movement up front. Really hope he continues to go from strength to strength with us and doesn't automatically get bombed out again when other options are back from injury up front

Shit but local

Over the moon for the kid, I really am.

Funny how we've had him for so long and it's only taken till now (injury ravaged striker situation) for most of us to benefit from it.

Let's hope his dad dials down the social media chat though, as he hasn't helped the situation when it blew up as the transfer window hadn't closed.

He had a great opportunity to show what he could do today coming on so early and grabbed it with both hands: it was a top performance.

A few benefit of hindsight comments on here though: he’s not shown enough previously for anyone to realistically expect him to make that impact. With Celar out he should be a definite starter in the next few matches and we will all be hoping he can replicate today.

Great stuff. Did what a lot of us have been crying out for from a CF.

If (if) he won't sign a new contract though then I'd rather not get too attached . Had my heart broken too many times

He was fantastic, what more can you ask for a 19 year old kid coming of the bench. Let's get that contract done He's shown he can make a difference and we need to get 2 good years out of him let him improve further and then maybe he moves on. Its in everyone's interest to close it off, now he proved himself.

Edit - The other very useful thing about Kolli today was watching in crowd we were able to measure the wind direction by his hair

His assist for smyth last season was a sign of what was to come / then he got injured and it fell apart from awhile

Today showed he needs to be in the team or at least around it every time and I can see him and celar up top together

If we're honest, he's not had a great season before today, but I (and I think a lot of others here) were impressed with his first few appearances last year and have been hoping he'd make good since. So I don't think it's all hindsight from today's result, more a case of optimism (maybe blind faith!) paying off.

Despite a few negative comments today about Celar, there are also people on here who kept faith with him before the previous two games. I hope he comes back strong too, desperate timing for his injury which is going to leave us stretched.

With Frey impressing at the start of the season, potentially we might have a really decent forward line-up from Frey, Kollli, Celar, Chair, Dembele and Lloyd if we only we could get them all fit together and showing their best form consistently.

Unfortunately there's no guarantee that will happen with any of them, let alone all of them.

Anyone who saw him v Spurs preseason would have started him or at least have him involved a lot this season. There was 15,000 that day I think so I reckon a few of us don’t deserve that comment.

No proof, but I suspect Nourry‘s belligerence over contract negotiations has probably damaged our season by keeping him out.

I expect confirmation this week after a arbitrary delay.

Beautiful moments; beautiful. Can you imagine if he’d actually got a hat-trick??!!

I would have liked the fella doing the interview to have asked him ‘if he truly realised how special that moment was to the Rangers fans? ‘Cause I’ll tell you now, that was very, very special, for one so much of our own to come on and do that, then. Jesus wept, it doesn’t get much better.

And Jimmy Dunne…what a man.

I must admit I was a bit concerned when Kolli was the substitute rather than Lloyd, as not sure whether he is a bit too lightweight for the Championship. But it was great to be proved wrong once he got a couple of flicks on from headers he got his confidence up and that opening goal, great anticipation and battling for a lovely finish for the 2nd. Onwards and upwards Mr Kolli.

I was surprised when he came on as well, but what do I know!
One thing I noticed was his upper body strength was much improved. He was competing yesterday, even managing to win headers, holding players off. Compared to the WBA game it was chalk and cheese.
Reminds me a bit of Chris Willock in his second season; improved strength, starting to ride challenges, happy to take a shot.
He's quite a tall lad as well which I never noticed before.

Let’s hope he gets a win bonus and a goal bonus, whilst they consider a new memorandum of understanding, top secret contract, NDA and prenup.

https://capology.com/club/qpr/salaries/

Quite a drop down to his salary as it stands - assuming that this data is correct and quite a few better earners with limited contribution so far this season.

They also provide some transparency into contract duration in the table.
