Is today the day? on 20:10 - Jun 21 by vetchonian | As you know I was one of Russ's biggest critics if not the biggest, I have been supporting this club long before the PL days and I suspect long before you Nowt wrong with 3 at the back provided your wing backs are set up properly....Cooper employed that tactic But now we move on Duff arrives here with a much better win percentage than the outgoing manager in his career to date Martin has achieved a 36.87 win percentage ...37.50% at MKDons and 36.36 with us no improvement but a regression whilst Duff has a career win percentage of 43.7 % ,40.4% whilst at Cheltenham then 55.2% at Barnsley he has certainly improved his winning and apparantly whilst playing attractive football...and got his team to the play offs....so it all looks good....formations are not always an issue as can be seen if Duff likes 3 at the back he also knows how to get wins unlike our previous manager who I wish well but expect to be a full time restrautuer come next January |
That’s great then. A 55% win rate will give us something like 76 points. Add the average 13 draws and we will end up with 89 points. Automatic promotion. That’s super.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

That’s 20% higher than RM achieved, but Duff didn’t get near 55% with Cheltenham

No but he has shown signs of progression ending up with that 55% Cheltenaham was his first senior managerial post and he still managed a win percentage of 40% better than Russ did at MKDons in his first role at 37.5% when he came to us Russ achieved 36.6% so had regregressed not improved? Whilst Duff achieved 40% at Cheltenham and then 55% at Barnsley so he has improved maybe he can get 58% here? Who knows, but the stats show Russ stayed still or regressed whilst Duff has seen an increase in the percentage wins he achieved. Duff also has the following honours League Two Manager of the Season: 2020—21 League One Manager of the Month: November 2022 December 2022,February 2023 League Two Manager of the Month: September 2019, February 2020 Whilst Russ was often nominated he never actually got the "Poisoned chalice" of a "manager of "award. The king is dead long live the king on paper Duff looks more capable of achievement here than his predecessor but only time will tell....Maybe we will be be surprised and Duff isn't the new man after all but it might be someone else [Post edited 22 Jun 2023 8:45]

Please God we get him in and he starts the show . First job to get a goalkeeper worthy of the name, find Piroe a suitor and knob off superGrimesy ,captain anonymous . Frankly, Fulton is one I’d have offered a longer contract to before Naughton and make him captain Unless Duffy brings in his own captain. Exciting times ahead possibly. Fans……unite and quit the super fan crap
