Mick Beale interesting comment. 21:38 - Sep 21 with 7939 views | Spen | Just read the short piece in WLS regarding Armstrong. Even in a few paragraphs, Beale comes across really well but what struck me was the last few lines. “What the international break gives me a chance to do is go and coach the Under-21s and the Under-18s, which I haven’t been able to do because they train at the same time as us,” he said. “Hopefully there are one or two more Sinclair’s hanging around.” Seriously impressed by that.

Was literally about to post that, having just listened to the Open All Rs podcast. A really good listen this week. To me, Beale comes across really well and he has a clear idea of what he wants and what he doesn’t. Seems very level-headed, and I particularly like his “no d*ckheads” rule as mentioned above. I was really concerned when we let Warbs go at the end of the season, and I know it’s still really early days, but I’m liking what I’m hearing and more importantly, what I’m seeing from Beale and the team. Just can’t wait for the next game!!
