Next Seaon's Championship 08:56 - Dec 1 with 6164 views | BAWHoops | Looks like newcastle will be coming down for their semi regular jaunt where they will hoover up anyone remotely talented and subvert the transfer market. Hopefully we can massively overcharge them for a few players

Next Seaon's Championship on 12:51 - Dec 1 by themodfather | norwich will again be strong at this level. last time fulham spent £120m to come straight back down, the money to settle and compete at prem level is huge , a massive gulf . . |
they were abysmal at newcastle on monday

Next Seaon's Championship on 05:40 - Dec 2 by nix | https://www.arsenal.com/news/joe-willock-my-own-words-1 According to this, written by Joe but all about the family, there are three brothers and one sister. It's worth reading because it's a lovely tribute to fathers and what they mean to their sons (I'd love to hear an interview from Mr Willock senior). It makes sense why they're all such lovely lads. |
What a great article.I guess they were lucky that they were all around the same age and all into playing football as they could always inspire each other to be better players. And what an amazing father to dedicate his life to his son’s football careers. My dad would never leave the pub long enough to ever see me play, but I didn’t worry too much about it,but it would’ve been nice to have had him there just once. I think their mum must’ve had great patience to allow them to move the furniture around so they could play in the front room.

That's a real shame Stow. I experienced the same with my netball games, neither parent ever came! But as you can imagine I went to almost all of my boys' matches, and still go occasionally now the younger one's 17, and his father went to quite a few too, especially in the early days. It's quite heartwarming to see Willock pere's dedication and to see how it's all paid off, he must be so proud. And I bet he's as proud of the older one playing for Gillingham as the other two in the Prem and Championship.

I always tried to be there for my children’s sports days and football matches, and I still do.Now it’s the grandchildren’s games being watched too.Luckily the grandson is Saturday mornings and my granddaughter is Sunday morning and my daughters is Sunday afternoon.Extra thanks to Sky for allowing me to attend most games by changing our fixtures so much. I don’t know what I’ll do if all 3 games clash with each other and qpr too.

My parents both watched me on a Saturday afternoon but not on a Sunday morning as they went to church/chapel. I'm told that my father continually told others how good a player I was, but I wish either of them would have told me that, even if it was just once!
Next Seaon's Championship on 10:34 - Dec 2 with 983 views | saxbend | Of course Newcastle will bring in plenty of players in January, but I can see them doing a Mark Hughes and getting players who have already achieved so much that they have no incentive to really play for that club or any other. Newcastle aren't going to win any trophies this season so players who've already won some are going to see pulling their fingers out for a relegation scrap as beneath them. They'll almost certainly destroy the championship next season if they come down, as will Norwich. Both have previous for that. Next season would be a good year for us to go up via the playoffs on that basis. We'll have had to really fight it and we'll have forged a squad competing with the likes of those two, built on what we've already created this far. So if we go up then we'll already have the core of a squad ready to make a good go of the premier league and we wouldn't need to dismantle it to accommodate a whole load of new signings over that summer window.
