Lol make that Carroll. | |

The Official Swansea City Vs Bristol City Championship Match Day Thread on 16:06 - Aug 25 with 5503 views | jackrabbit | Bristol City's passing is slicker and more accurate than ours and Andreas Weimann is head and shoulders above everybody else on the pitch. Very classy player. We 've played some good stuff but it all looks a bit disjointed and non-threatening. If Montero comes on then the players have to be ordered to get the ball to him. Otherwise he's totally ineffectual on the wing as he was against Leeds. We are missing Fer's physical presence in midfield. I feel sorry for Ollie - he's getting bugger-all service.

No. We have been totally outplayed, I think this really puts our squad in to perspective. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

There are some positives - young squad, plenty of character and a top young manager. But realistically I think we're probably a mid-table team with a paper thin squad, and I'm afraid that once the suspensions, injuries and midweek games roll in we'll be in danger of plummeting Owners - old and new - what the f*ck have you done? The cups need to be binned off early this season. No time or resources for that. We are 3 signings from being quality. But if we dont get them or they dont perform we will be quite inconsistent this season

The Official Swansea City Vs Bristol City Championship Match Day Thread on 17:02 - Aug 25 with 4103 views | AnotherJohn | With our thin squad I'm afraid there will be plenty of days like this. In the end I thought the better team won. Our midfield isn't the same without Fer at present, but even if he comes on our attack isn't the same without Oli. That is the problem a team has if there are no alternatives in multiple positions (VDH would be another). Had the bizarre situation here in SE Asia today where the Swans TV stream was freezing to the point that there was just a static image, while the Vipbox ripoff of the Swans TV stream was rock solid. What on earth are the people who run Swans TV doing?

Imo, we looked like a team who had given 100% in a game 4 days ago and looked slightly off the pace and leggy today Our squad is very thin and a couple of good additions (+ maybe Bony back) and we will be ok. We wont be winning any league titles this season tho

Same problem we had back in the Monk era, Jeff gets the ball and the rest of the team stops to watch.

Some neat passing, mainly in non-threatening areas. Jeff made a difference and laid on a couple of chances, but unfortunately Celina didn't have his shooting boots on, though he generally did well. Fer looked good, but wasn't brought on until late. Mulder made some excellent saves and looks the real deal. I did wonder if Jeff had a penalty shout with one challenge.
