Its not down to the fans not getting behind them that they are so shiit.
They need to get their foot behind the ball and take a friggin shot now and again.
You can support a team, you can acceot the odd bad performance or two, the odd muck up by the board now and again also....

Exactly. I go week in week out, and start by cheering the boys on, but gradually they grind any enthusiasm out of my system. Look at it today. Even at 60 minutes and absolute rubbish on the pitch, the crowd tried to rouse the team, but really it just got worse on the pitch. Head in hands job by the end.
Strangely by the end I wasn't that bothered. I think even if we scored that effort that hit the bar, I'd have had a job to cheer very much.
Crushingly ineffective against a really poor opposition.
