Yes I agree. I wasn't saying that they are to blame. You said it was strange, I was offering a reason why it was seen this way. The older generations (one's not computer orientated) may just lump computer games, iphones, internet altogether. So to them computers equal kids staying in.
I personally think it is mostly internet. Kids no longer have to go out to see their mates after school. They can communicate and insult each other from the comfort of their own home...like me and you are doing now, you w@nker.  |

I think the problem is that these days kids don't have that screechy cat telling us what to do to stay safe. They should bring that back.
