I'm not arguing with you and I agree with your UKIP example and on PR generally (although ona point of order we've never had a referendum on PR). Just pointing out that more people voted for the "other guy" than did for trump. Significantly more. That's not to say that he didn't win the election legitimately under the rules because of course he did.
