I prefer to take the view that 150,000 people gathering in a few fields in Somerset and having an absolute ball without looking to fight or kill each other is a good thing espcially after the events of the last few months.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with 150,000 people gathering and having a great time of it. Fantastic.
But spare me the faux right-on socialism of it all - it's almost impossible to think of a greater example of rampant capitalism and sheer greed than charging people a grand to stay in a tent for a weekend, sorry 'tipi' sic. Snigger.
And the Corbyn hysteria of this one makes it even more sickening than normal. Bleating about the effects of austerity and the bast*rd 'rich scum Tories' while spending £500 on tickets.
I enjoy watching the music, but the nonsense of it all is ever more ridiculous. Notting Hill is bloody empty this weekend, with all the hedge fund managers and their pampered families down at 'Glasto darling'. Repeat after me 'oh, Jeremy Corbyn'.

Something tells me that you are just butt hurt at seeing the death of your beloved Liberal party.
More butt hurt at seeing the death of what used to be a brilliant festival to be honest Ebo.
Nothing to do with the Liberals or any other party.
I kind of agree about the festival bit, it has changed but unfortunately if it had not changed then it would not be able to carry on. Eavis had to consult with the locals and agree to certain measures. It has become more commercial but the magic of the place is still there.
I said I wouldn't go back after leaving in 2005 and thinking to myself that it wasn't the festival I grew up with anymore. But alas the other half wants to go and I am 50 in 3 years so will be making the trek in 2020, just for old times sake ;)

Ok computer was decent. I haven't heard anything they have done since. That isn't a coincidence either. Bruford knew when it was time to leave Yes, and I knew when it was time to stop listening to Radiohead.

Lis has got form for chastising the lesser off for how they spend their money. You can't complain about austerity if you've bought a festival ticket nor should you buy a Blu-ray if you're looking scruffy in a supermarket.
Number of people, I've heard this week talking about them getting ready for Glasto - over pampered morons who are chanting for Corbyn despite never voting Labour in a million years.

No it's not. I'm slagging them off for pretending they give a crap about anyone who is worse off than they are when they're all affluent Tories trying to recapture their youth.
Bluey would just congratulate them for being Tories in the first place.
