Match thread: Oxford on 17:37 - Jan 21 with 2760 views | PaulHeymanGuy | Logan at fault for all 4 goals absolutely awful performance by him. One person in the sandy said but he has made two good saves from 1 on 1s. I'll just excuse the other 4 huge errors then. Tanser was just awful from start to finish. Owusu with a less than inspiring debut. Somebody needs to tell him you're allowed to jump off the floor for the ball Did anybody in pearl Street notice if logan acknowledge the fans before storming off down the tunnel? As he didn't come down to the sandyou unlike most of the squad

Match thread: Oxford on 17:24 - Jan 21 by Shun | That was an absolutely embarrassing performance, and I mean worse than dreadful. It really seemed like these players hadn't ever seen each other before, and with the amount of easy passes that went straight to an Oxford player it seemed like they still didn't know what each other looked like during the game. We were missing at least five players who would've played ordinarily, but that's no excuse. Logan's display was atrocious, I'm struggling to remember a worse display by a Rochdale goalkeeper. His poor ball led to the sending off last week and he contributed to at least two goals today. I'm consoling myself by seeing today as a freak result, one of those heavy losses that comes against a lesser side when in the middle of a good run. Having said that, we've had quite a few of these freak results this season! [Post edited 21 Jan 2017 17:25]

Logan actually made a couple of decent stops, so that raises his display from the all time worst category but there's no way he should be starting next week if Lillis is fit. I certainly don't want to hear the "his distribution is better" argument again, because it really isn't. Yes, when he gets it right he can start an attack very effectively, but it's no where near consistent enough - even in the first half he was putting players in trouble. He's a good keeper to have alongside Lillis as they push each other, happy for him to stay another year in the summer if it's with that in mind, but certainly not worth splashing out on. We missed Lund a lot and I'd like to know the thinking/reason for Calvin going off. Get a left back in on loan, it was a big ask for Tanser today and I didn't think he was as bad as some but we need some cover there. Keane returning will hopefully settle us down. Worth noting that if Henderson had stuck away either of his chances at the start of the second half that it could have been a different game, because we were well on top before Logan's mistake for the corner ahead of their third.

Match thread: Oxford on 17:32 - Jan 21 by Jimlidale | What rumours are they? West Ham won today, I expect their interest could be waning. Newcastle who I believe were also interested won as well. Brentford lost today so they might want to hold on to one of their main strikers, especially if they are looking over their shoulder's. |
I very much doubt that winning a couple of games will stop them signing players. They've just let go of 2 forwards and Payet is leaving too. Carroll needs some support.

The saves Logan made were academic cause he had already lost us the game. Absolutely bobbins today Conrad. No one can come out of that performance with any credit. Lovely touch giving the MOM to young Josh but I bet the sponsors were secretly glad they didn't have to nominate a player cause they were all shite! Tanser looked like a conference player and is a shadow of the lad who broke onto the scene. Owusu has bags of pace but that looked like his only attribute based on today's showing. I lost count the amount of times we got into a shooting position, only to try and play a tippy tappy Arsenalesque 2 yard through ball. Atrocious.

Not counting the 2 Dale subs before the second half kicked off - there were 4 other subs plus 2 goals, both of them celebrated at some length. add to that the stoppage of at least 2, probably 3 minutes, and we had just 3 minutes added time?? Yep, it was a blessing in the end, but where the bloody hell do these officials get their timing from?

It was 3-0 at the time, not sure of the time. Would the points have been awarded to Oxford or would the game have been replayed?

It used to be that 75 minutes had to be played for the result to stand otherwise it gets replayed.

How did it take so long for the rat to be discovered?

Was the pitch not relaid in the summer At some expense?. If the surface has cut up after one game of rugby i think i would be contacting the contractors to find out why.Not blaming Rochdale Hornets.

The ref probably said to the groundsman, "There's a rat on your pitch man, what are you going to do?"
